He can make it if you ask. It's called the tall knob; there are several others out there but I don't think he wants to make a mass production of them b/c it was sort of a PITA.... or perhaps it was just me lol

The wing on the 06 looks very nice, I wonder if I should put an R56 one my 07?
Thought about washing Scooter today, but I will do it after the C&C on Saturday AM. It is not that dirty, the mag chloride matches the DS on the boot!

I got 'em out for a little play time (even let my son drive the R53) and some much needed Vitamin D..... Closed up with a couple beers and conversation.
What a Great Day! :beerAttached Files:

Switched out Nigel's winter shoes for the new summer ones: JCW Challenge wheels + Conti DW's 205/45-17. Converted to wheel studs with the switchover, also.
Very pleased! Of course, 3 of the 4 tires had 42 psi from the tire shop, that'll teach me to check them all before I go out for a first drive.
I'd considered Rota RBs or Breyton GTS's, but ultimately settled on the JCW rims since, well, I like them, and also you don't see them often on Ice Blue MINIs. Quick shot below, I almost didn't bother...as if folks hadn't seen JCW wheels. But I am liking how these are now filling the wheel wells nicely with the NM Alpha springs.

Added my PCV blocking cap to the firewall side PCV port and added a second to the port on the intake manifold... And added lightness (removed the interconnecting PCV hose)....
Man.... what a bear it was to get the PCV hose off the intake manifold side....
I had to remove the OEM air cleaner, disconnect the cold air tube going to the air cleaner, remove the hard pipe going to the turbo, and disconnect the noise maker....
Got it put back together with no extra mysterious fasteners left over....
One interesting observation I was happy to find.... The PCV hose leading to the cold side on the turbo has absolutely no sign of oil film inside the tube coming from the OCC.... It must be very efficient....
