Today I got rid of the secondary cat and resonator on the Porker!

If you've thought about doing it, but are worried about the added volume level, just do it! You still hear more wind noise at 50 MPH than exhaust noise. (At least at my altitude, yes things will be louder the closer to sea level you get.)

I honestly don't know why I waited so long to do it, for me it's just about right. [emoji2]

Took the Porker up I-70 after dinner to make sure no CEL codes are going to pop up...

No codes from Denver to Copper Mountain and back, but the exhaust does get quieter as it heats up.

Here's a short 3rd gear WOT pull through the twin tunnels on the east side of Idaho Springs on the way up. (Driver window was down) You can barely hear the exhaust! [emoji12]

Took the Rat up Lookout Mountain today... Ran into some fueling issues that are going to need sorted out. [emoji30]

But did have a nice chat with a nice old Japanese guy and his wife at the pull off I took this picture in... He loves what I have done with it, looked the car over for about 10 minutes, swapping stories. [emoji2] Then they got in their 800HP Supra and headed up the hill. [emoji12]

Thanks - was super lucky for sure. Worked on cleaning it up last night (with respirator on).. Needless to say, I’m going through and looking at everything that has batteries and also looking into a “fire box” for the batteries. That wall is the wall to the kitchen and right above that are where my boys sleep.. Couldn’t be more thankful that I was up late that night working (on the site no less). Going to be installing a hard wired fire alarm in the garage this weekend.

New S4S Billet Shift Knob. Got it on sale for 75% off because the set screw is ~30% off center. I'm not that OCD.

I got the helmet out of hibernation so I could drive it to work tonight. Should get done around midnight. Good time to blow it out!

I will post from jail tomorrow

I drove the Helmet to the mall with my wife. I decided to park it in the safest place I could. Right under the police camera!:D

Checked the oil yesterday. It has been 3 months since I last added oil and was surprised that I didn't need to add any yet. Something must be wrong or I'm not driving hard enough.

I finish up Teddy’s full detail today and he is on his way home in a very clean and Gyeon coated car ready for the Dragon.

Got up and cleaned my MINI inside and out from a week at the Dragon.

The inside was dirty but the outside was trashed from driving home Sunday. I headed out of Fontana at 5 am and drove all the pay back to SE PA. It was raining, very foggy on hellbender and the Dragon and it was covered with leaves and junk. It was a great sunny ride in TN, VA, WV, MD and then in PA it’s started pouring and stopped 2 exits before I got off.

I don’t think my car has ever been that dirty.

Today I changed the belt, tensioner, idler pulley and the crank seal. What I thought was the timing chain cover leaking turned out to be the cam position sensor, so I fixed that too. Also I changed the spark plugs. All I have left is the fuel filter. But right now my wife are taking the Helmet and going to dinner.
