I see lots of moving the Gnatster to the opposite side of the street to miss getting towed on street sweeping day....

 

Better to drive them than park them.

 

Killed thousands of bugs and one Robin on our trip back to the State of Corruption and High Taxes to visit family for the holiday weekend. Also, turned over 3k miles on the way up. Bertie need a bath.

 

The oil has yet to pick up enough engine flavor to fry the donuts.

 

Hey Jim, it's a whole new ball game down here, since there's really no winter it has thrown my whole mojo off!! Lol

 

And that is a good thing my friend. My horse is running up a nice vet bill right now.

MM, make sure that walker has under panels for less drag, old man.

So the hose story continues.... The hose I thought I sourced locally didn't show up either! The original hose did show up last night so today's job was to install the new hose, replace the crankshaft sensor o-ring which was leaking..... I ordered the part and it was shipped from Atlanta on the 28th, once again the post office at its finest....it went to TN one day, Greensboro the next and just arrived at the Hickory unit at 7am this morning!!!! Which of course means it won't be delivered today...

Now if I look at a map I see Atlanta, to the left TN, to the right from TN past Hickory, Greensboro, Hickory sort of straight above Atlanta and they wonder why the Post Office is losing money???? Just venting cause I wanna drive my MINI!

 

I installed my ScanGauge II in a place where I can see it quickly and easily... using 3M professional fake-velcro.

 

So while you folks played in the garage today, we played in the SUN with the MINIs, legal and in the center of Denver.

:cornut: Patrolled all western roads of Grayson County armed with Churchill caliber cigar and Starbucks. All infil/exfil secondary roads open and unguarded. Negative enemy encounters. Returning to objective rallying point.:eek6::lol::lol::lol:

Drove to the a German car show. Saw a few friends. Looked at cars drove my little roadster out in the country. My MINI had the day off.

Yours or His? ?

 

Clay barred the entire car to remove some tree wax or pollen, and rewaxed with P21S - the new 100% carnuba. Best results I've seen. Also learned the clay barring doesn't seem to remove existing wax. It just takes off what is stuck to the surface. I have many coats of carnuba. Even so, I still put on a new coat - machine applied - after clay barring just to freshen up the surface. Results are smooth, reflective and slick as can be.

 

Had new clutch, front bushings installed, and a power steering pump checked out and replaced under warranty. While MINI was in service, I had a Paceman (the oxymoron...a big MINI) to drive around.



Because I returned the Paceman with a bit more gas in it than what I started with, they gave me some swag.



Then I took my car out motoring to check out the new parts.




Motor on!!
