One of the reasons I am in Ohio now instead of Texas.

Gave it a wash for the first time since we went on the brewery tour.

Man was it dirty. Picked up some road tar along the way. Gonna have to work on that a little, but first I have to finish the wash and polish on my daughters rav4. She is home for the weekend shopping at the Quarter horse congress.

So while my girls spend my retirement I'm going to have some cold ones and get out the Griots.

Removed original clearbra, stripes and adhesive after 7 years... Polished, amigo'd, installed new clearbra.
Gonna run nekked with subtle ghost stripes for a while, I think. :cornut:

Drove to therapy and back, not far, just across the river.

    3 down, 3 to go!

I took the passenger Recaro out'a the Mini and repaired the recliner mechanism. New grade 8s tomorrow and they'll both be good as new!

Took a ride up to visit the lads Helix World HQ to have new axles installed. It was a gloriously quiet ride home. No more "clickity-clickity-clickity" on take off.

Excellent taste (presuming you actually like the taste of harbor water, old rope, and damp smouldering wood... I certainly do).

Today I helped a person, that happened to require a 19mm wrench, that was needed to tighten a wayward nut, on their MINI...

Wooohoooo...THREE other MINIs joined my car and me at Mid Ohio this weekend! I could tell my S was THRILLED, even though the rain and 43 degree temps on Saturday made for some slooow driving. Today was sunny, warmer and a lot faster.

Picked up the Blu one from the good folks at Best Motor Werks. All the things that spin around on the front of the engine are renewed, including an ATI damper. It may be the placebo effect, but man does it feel smoother. I'm a happy camper. :D

Today on the way to work it was a little below 40 degrees and the car love the cold weather. So I am having doing my typical time trial run to work on the same route I take everyday. I come to the off camber up hill right hander and I did a very cool but totally not intended wicked cool power slide / drift.

I think it is time to take my Summer Dunlop Star Specs off and put the Winter tires on this weekend so I can have some traction in the cold mornings.

Put the GP IC back on after the pinhole was welded up.

Changed summer shoes for winter shoes. Figures it will be 70 tomorrow. I jsut keep telling myself the cold is coming, and soon.

Was fun too, the left rear hub ring was stuck on. Didn't realize it till after I was driving and my neighbor pulled up next to me and told me the left rear was wobbling. Went right back home, all of a few blocks away and proceeded to look it all over. Then started a mild string of curses. had to use a hammer and chisel to separate the ring from the hub. Love that galvanic action. No more wobble. The worst part was carrying the jack back upstairs.

Note to self...fire the pit crew.

Had breakfast/donuts with the mini club. Then a detailing party with my friend… used a little prima swirl/hydro and then went and got more donuts.
