Drove to work and came home to see this on my front porch. I may or may not know what I got for Christmas. Subtle don't you think?

 

Got up at 5:00am, threw in some new unwrapped toys into beken's boot.


and drove to downtown Vancouver for this year's Christmas Wish toy drive. Donated the toys. Been doing this every year for the last 10 years. This year, no other MINI drivers joined me. :nonod:



But the Ghostbusters were there.

 

No the Jeep Compass will be my DD...
Kim will prob still drive her R53 on most days

The new CM will sit parked in the driveway "on reserve"...lol

It solves the MTTS 2014 dilemma with months to go...2 adults and 3 dogs

4 inches of icey and slushy snow in the Vancouver BC area this morning. I went and ran circles around a stuck long bed pickup truck at my office parking lot this morning.

I also watched a police car come in and do a few donuts in the parking lot....just for fun. :frown2: ... okay...he did that and also checked on the guy in the pickup truck.

Snow tires, folks.

 

I was pulled over last night on my way to work. Officer stated that he pulled me over due to my license plate lights being out. I got out and wiped the inch of dirt off the lights and the license plate numbers. He let me go with a warning.

 

Drove on my winter tires for the first time. HUGE difference!

 

Traction makes everything better. :wink:

 

Went to run some errands, it's like 18F out. The MINI hates this more than me.

 

Installed my custom Nick-Fab pizza slicer on the blu one. Thanks Nick!

 

Got winter wheels and tires put on the Countryman. Just in time for another sub-zero blast of weather.

 

Washed, clayed and washed my car again yesterday. Pulled it in the garage and dried it off and let it sit for the night.

Today the DA came out and polished the whole car 3 times to remove little scratches and what not. (( OCD yup ))

Tested a few new waxes and they are looking real good and replace some Prima stuff. I got tired after 5 hours so I covered the car in a nice layer of pure carnauba and I will take it off sometime tomorrow.

It's great to have a garage and work from home so I don't need to use my car daily.

 

Sounds like a good day Dave. Mine has been in the garage & has only come out on a decent day. Babs clubster is seeing all the snow & dirt this winter. :smilewinkgrin:

Had this Hydro Dipped and installed it today, order the replacement JCW Sticker today.
