Gee, if I didn't know yours had a sport antenna, I'd never be able to tell which one is which!

Daydreamed about my MINI... While doing Spring yardwork....
Wife's doing horse stuff up in Cleveland with the daughter this weekend.... Thought I would surprise her when she gets back on Monday....
So I.....
Pruned some bushes...
Cleaned out the flower boxes...
Grass seeded some bare spots in the yard...
Sprayed ant killer around the walls by the kitchen...
Cut down a redbud tree that was planted in the wild from the butt of a passing bird...
Man.... I gotta get the MINI road worthy....

Went and got some Chili Red paint for my hood scoop. Big thanks to eminiparts!
On a down note I found out my wife's Sequoia has a timing belt not a chain. It should be replaced every 90K miles. She has 240,000 on the original belt!:yikes: I have ordered a timing belt kit. I sure hope it holds a few more days.:fingerscrossed:-

Tried to take a "spirited" drive today only to have my plans foiled by a prius in front of me. I gave it a bath and dried it off. Might clay and wax it tomorrow. On a side note, is it worth the six hour round trip to ride to the dragon? I'd kind of like to check out the mini show.

Drove a pile of southern Ohio roads, about 300 miles worth today. Yesterday the Blu one & I did 350 on those same back roads. Lots of fun, but a bunch of work doing course layout for this years Riverrun. Sure glad my good friend Bill doesn't mind writing routes while I have fun driving. The winter has not been kind to Ohio back roads & bridges. Lots of re-routing.
Tomorrow is wash day to clean 650 miles of mud, road apples, fish & squirrel guts off me MINI.

Dave.0 Helix & RMW PoweredLifetime SupporterI use a leaf blower, and have for years, to dry my car.
I even bring it to the Dragon were we almost end up washing our cars about once a day.
Remember the less you "touch" your paint with anything the more you decrease the chance of adding scratches to the finish. :ihih:-

Made 3 wiring harnesses for the DIY lights project....
Got some better springs for the aiming adjusters used on the lights....
Next week I should get the ceramic high heat plugs for the H4 bulbs....
With a small bit of luck this project will be complete next week....
Can't wait to drive the MINI with the nice change in the weather....

I drove the R53 to the golf course for a long overdue round with the oldest friends I've got in this world. I played like s** t, but had the greatest of times.
Life just doesn't get any better! :beer-

I did nothing with my MINI. My youngest girl and I got the ski boat ready for the season. Now I have two things to be excited for, the Dragon and going to the lake!

Just installed a Sprint Booster yesterday, I know it doesn't add any hp but
it really gets rid of the sluggish throttle response. I give it a 10 so far.-
