Today I removed all my belt line trim and striped the 3M black tape off and spray plasti-dipped them all. I also cleaned and resprayed my side scuttles turn signals with night shades.

Tuesday, it goes in for an alignment.

I use a leaf blower, and have for years, to dry my car. I even bring it to the Dragon were we almost end up washing our cars about once a day.

Remember the less you "touch" your paint with anything the more you decrease the chance of adding scratches to the finish. :ihih:

Made 3 wiring harnesses for the DIY lights project....

Got some better springs for the aiming adjusters used on the lights....

Next week I should get the ceramic high heat plugs for the H4 bulbs....

With a small bit of luck this project will be complete next week....

Can't wait to drive the MINI with the nice change in the weather....:D

I drove the R53 to the golf course for a long overdue round with the oldest friends I've got in this world. I played like s** t, but had the greatest of times.

Life just doesn't get any better! :beer

I did nothing with my MINI. My youngest girl and I got the ski boat ready for the season. Now I have two things to be excited for, the Dragon and going to the lake!

Just installed a Sprint Booster yesterday, I know it doesn't add any hp but

it really gets rid of the sluggish throttle response. I give it a 10 so far.

Couple of things........I hope you didn't get just regular PS fluid because our MINI's take some special Pentosin fluid.

And please don't use the Armor-All anymore. It will really shorten the life of any part it touches.

Dropped it off at the shop for a fuel filter replacement and tire swap from winter to summer rubber. Then it goes to the detailer. I should see the car again on Wednesday.

I would not run Blizzacks on the Dragon. You want good summer tires with grip.

↑That would be the way I would usually do it, but someone used all the carb cleaner and put the empty can back on the shelf. I was probably unnecessarily concerned about simple green contaminating my oil.

While all you folks get ready for fun at the Dragon, Pat and I took the Countryman up to Estes Park for a bit of picture taking, Hwy 7 and Peak to Peak Hwy 72, some Moose and to have a great lunch.

Pictures will be on FB and G+ later tonight. It was a great and calm day of driving, needed some quality MINI driving time, the CM loves the Mountains.

Kept it tidy and warm in the garage during today's storm. Drove it to a new BBQ joint last night though. Loved the drive, as always, but the jury's still out on the food... :frown2:
