Took a nice leisurely drive with the MINI, wife and dog out old US40 west.... Went over to Urbana Ohio.... Stopped at Crabill's and had some of their double cheeseburger sliders.... Been wanting to eat here for about 5 years and never had the time.... Washed them down with an old fashioned Stewart's root beer. Tasty

I am always tickled as to how much cargo can be stuffed in my Coupe! Over 300 bucks from Costco packed in the boot, 30 pounds of dog food on passenger seat with a case of Summer Helles, gym bag. I love my MINI :)

Well, the black car is a new Jag Coupe Type R, actually pretty small.

Were you asking about the pickup like shot at the end of the album?

    It was a bit different.

Yeah. It is definitely a Holden UTE. Didn't think those were able to be brought to the states.

Painted the black parts of my bumper today with texture paint that matches the OEM finish perfectly so I made a little progress.

When we were there in January, we thought the plates were for Republicans and Democrats. Apparently the Independents don't have cars.

My hatch door is rust free. Brand new in fact, just got her back from the dealer at zero cost. Somehow that makes it more rust free.

Drove down to the shop at 7:30am.... Woke Nathan up to the sound of my JCW at full song bouncing the melody off the tall buildings in the Short North.... Nathan, Josh and I then proceeded to Tommy's for a scrumptious breakfast.... I had the roast beef hash, potatoes, two eggs and Texas toast....

I'm reporting that Nathan had eggs, toast and turkey sausage.... He said the turkey sausage was especially good.... Not.....

And because Nathan is a MOM, he got a gold star for his choice of unsaturated fats....

    Well done Nate....

The hesitation/stumbling got much worse and my gas mileage dropped. After a quick check of the spark plugs, I noticed that plug #3 was sooty. I replaced the injector on #3 this afternoon and proceeded to drive twenty miles. It didn't loose power or hesitate at all. Maybe I have finally solved the problem.

    Thanks.

The coolant started leaking on me. Took a few days to find the leak. Ended up getting a new thermostat housing unit.

Nick was kind enough to come over and help reconnect the hoses to the unit. With my damaged hands I couldn't push the hoses back on.

Drove to Colonial Williamsburg. Walked around for bit. Then had a fantastic lunch and discovered a new style of beer that will haunt me the rest of my life.
