Drove up to Bass Lake for a great breakfast with the VBAC folks. Stopped at a local wine tasting/fruit and vegetable place not far from the house on the way home. What a great time!

 

Took the MINI to the Shell station for a fill up of 93....

Stopped by to visit my parents for a while and dropped off a DVD "The Grand Budapest Hotel" for them to watch....

Picked up some avocados and 4 catfish fillets.... Will be a grillin tonight for dinner....

Will be watchin season III of "The Killing" on Netflix....

 

Went to my Daughters to celebrate her birthday. Like my Grandson says..."the Mini really likes these back roads Papa"! Picked up a card for Danny on the way home.

 

Moved it from a weekday illegal parking spot to a legal one.

FINALLY the stars aligned and Dawson Glass was able to install my A Pillar covers and the bits that go above them that attach to the rain gutters.

Now Black Top doesn't look like Elvis with shaved sideburns any more.

Yeah... The 20 hours down there next year is going to be BRUTAL between the fixed position Sparco seats, the 5 point harnesses, and not having tunes!

Its just more incentive to get there faster!

 

At night? Have you been on the Dragon midweek after Midnight?

Do you know what the locals do on the Dragon late at night? 12 am -3:00 am

I would not recommend running the Dragon because Colin and I found out running my car last year at 1:30 AM.

At least I have a temporary engine that runs... Sometimes thats enough.

 

Yup I had a 91 Honda Civic Si SQ car with 1200 watts and competed in IASCA it really did get old winning every show you went to.
Once you have a really nice audio system in a car OEM just won't due. I like to hear the full sound spectrum so I have a few quality parts and only a 10 sub which meets my needs. Amps are so small, powerful and efficient now it's crazy compared to back in the day.

Today I have (2) JL Audio HD amps with a total of 1650 wats, Focal front separates, Infinity rear 6x9's and a JL 10 w7 in a small custom side enclosure that takes up less space then my Meth kit. Oh and a full layer of Dynamat to keep the sound I paid for inside my car so I can enjoy it.

 

Drove it.

And test fitted my Necksgen Rev head-and-neck-restraint device. And installed the Necksgen anchors on my helmet. And installed a RAM mount for my iPhone (or a future GoPro) on my roll bar.

 

Can we get a vid of you going through a drive thru in full race gear?

 

Rebalanced my 10" front wheels today.
