Took the R50 out, aired up the tires and went to a 2 hour drive...it welcomed the nice, Fall weather, which is supposed to end today. Now the car is back in its stall, eagerly awaiting Indian summer and some nicer Winter days.

 

Took the racing slicks off. Well the worn down to racing depth S Drives. :wink: Looked at the brakes, all is well :biggrin5: & slapped on the treaded soft skinny tires.

 

Washed my car yesterday and put it in the garage while it is supposed to rain today.

 

I have only had to replace 1 windshield in my 05 but I am about due for another one since I picked up a nice chip comming home from the Dragon last year.

I have had great results with Pilkington glass and it has taken some very hard hits.

 

A leopard print, perhaps?

 

That is a great looking R53... Looks to be a fully optioned JCW.
If mine woulda started out like that, I would have preserved the look.

 

That sucks Stef! Sorry to hear about the assault on your Mini.

 

A bolt in the right rear up by the sunroof was a little loose and the hose that carries water down the C pillar was tapping against the C pillar.

 

No I will always be a little nuts. :crazy:

This morning I took my Mini to the body shop to get a repair estimate on my hood damage...yikes! Thank goodness for good comprehensive insurance...

 

$80, you stole them.

That's some high quality grime ya got there. I like that!

 

Heading to the spray it off wash bay. Don't want to hand wash it with all that SE Ohio grit on the paint. Once a few layers of crud are removed I can hand warsh it.

 

I thought you were supposed to use an orbital buffer to remove the grit before washing it.

 

Dave.0 what are you using for a foam agent and what do you device are you using for application?

I like the less is more idea for no scratches.
