Heading to the spray it off wash bay. Don't want to hand wash it with all that SE Ohio grit on the paint. Once a few layers of crud are removed I can hand warsh it.

I thought you were supposed to use an orbital buffer to remove the grit before washing it.

I took a nice relaxing and fast drive pickup a OEM fuel filter for my MINI.

When I got home I painted few parts from my interior that had been scratch for a while.

Fitted my spare set of rims, with Blizzaks, to the M1N1. Snow on the ground, single digit temps tonight, and a 56 mile (one way) commute for 2nd shift.

They are awesome for the shade tree mechanic who can't/doesn't want to fit in a 2 or 4 post lift. Car is high enough to easily work on suspension/brakes and swapping wheels. :)
Only problem is with low-profile cars, ramps are needed to clear the lift to drive on and off.

I got an hour and a half free MRI time at the VA today. The mini and I logged 250 miles on the round trip and I filled her up with 93 octane at $2.78 a gallon. It was 12º when I left home at 0430 and of course the TPMS was telling me my tires were flat. I said screw it and ignored the idiot light until I stopped at a Goodyear store on the way home. Added 1PSI all the way around, reset the warning and kept on trucking. Beautiful day for the return leg.
