Sorry, I must have missed the part where he said he was ‘driving like a maniac thru a roundabout’.
Any deterioration in surface conditions should warrant these not only ay the track, but on the road as well:

Does the time it took to fix locking the keys in the car count towards the total?

I think I found the cause of the creaking in the front end. Now it's time for some tacos, then reassembly and a test drive.

Added 6 oz. of coolant to the reservoir in my S and checked to make sure they had painted my new scoop correctly [and they did]. Took my wife's S out to get a low tire fixed and found that the bead on the rim was leaking...all is well now, tires are all aired up with nitrogen and life is good again. It was a busy day, but a good one.

Changed the power steering hoses today. No brake work yet as the parts I have don't appear to be of any benefit to install... No rain as the weatherman had insisted, therefore I skated on having to wash the car and mop the floor. At least the day was mostly a success.

Took Scooter and washed and Hydro'd the heck out of him yesterday, today I cleaned all the windows again after a short fun drive to the range.

Tonight, we took Pat's Countryman to the MINI5280 Club Christmas Party/Jubilee at the local Baker Street Pub, proper British food was served. Fun, very good time, lots of raffle items given to most everyone.

    Good night. :)

Well, I finally took Jocko out for a spin today. With the windows and sunroof open, I went to the golf course to watch a couple of buddies play in a best ball and then I went and did a little Christmas shopping.

Straight on from the side doesn't look as bad to me, but that angle makes the rear quarter look very awkward with how the glass curves in and how the sheet metal protrudes out. It's an even bigger exaggeration of the bubble butt of the F56 hardtop.

Maybe it is the lighting/shadow, but the front end reminds me of this....

I could be wrong, I often am, but I read somewhere that the clubman was going to be a 4 door with clam shell rear doors like the current clubman.

They added 2 rear doors to that F55, but it made the front door pretty tiny. With the drivers seat moved back where I'd have it to drive there isn't enough room for anyone with legs to sit behind me. Plus the B pillar is next to my mellon. The rear doors make loading & unloading stuff easier at the expense of those tiny front doors. One other thing, heck those new new MINIs cost a heck of a lot. Affordability is a word no longer spoken by MINI.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...let's just get through this rain storm first before we start talking snowflakes! I mean, I just walked through the parking lot not 5 minutes ago...and now my hair is damp!

    :biggrin5:

I admit I'm not looking forward to my commute home. :nonod:

Oil is cheaper than Fiesta ST's, but Fiesta ST's are more fun than oil.
