The used Euro Parcel Shelf I bought from an M/A member in NV arrived today! I'm installing it in my wife's S so she has more space to store her knick knacks and not jam them in the door pockets. She will really appreciate this after it has been installed and especially since these are harder than hen's teeth to find.

I used to take a lunchtime snooze when I was still in the firehouse. But then, I never got much sleep there.

Last Saturday, we led 27 MINIs on a club ride (check-point in 'downtown' Martindale, Texas) to the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco... where we met up with about 80 other MINIs from Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Midland, Lubbock, and Abilene (our group was from San Antonio with a few from Austin).

I have done NOTHING with my Mini. I haven't even got to see it the past 3 days! Got to Panama yesterday and saw two Minis drive by the hotel. Man I miss my Mini I wonder if it misses me?

The up side is when I get home it will be late at night, the roads will be empty! I'll take the long way home.

At least the dealer has a sense of humor

I took my JCW in today for a couple of days' worth of maintenance and warranty work. The loaner the dealer gave me was a Chili Red 2015 MINI Convertible - perfect for a day when the forecast high temperature was 2 degrees! (It was -1 when I picked up the car.)

Why not give your car full detail... Use a propane burner to stay warm!

See why I dont work much out there in the winter?

Left my MINI in the warm dry garage & drove Babs salt covered clubster to the eye doc. Eyes are fine & the clubster is a bit saltier. :D

Good job Dave! That is what I do to keep my MINI clean this time of year. The car wash never seems crowded on the cold days.

You are like my wife, Babs the queen of driving on empty. In fact I'm going out now to see if I have to add gas. :)

Well maybe... But probably not really, everything is usually pretty well topped off. My fuel for it comes in cans with a 110 on the label and I didn't pay attention to the remaining can being vacant of the necessary fluids for consumption.

Nevertheless, I drove the R53 for pizza today, at halftime!
