Back tonight after a nice 696 mile drive in the Countryman with Patty and our Golden Pup.

We drove down to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, played in the sand and snow and did an overnight in Alamosa, CO. It was flat zero this morning but great blue sky. The CM fired right up.

We drove back the back way up San Luis Valley, it is cold and pretty with some tall mountains on both sides, good motoring in 12 degrees with a 75 mph average, great road.

We celebrated our Anniversary in a small Italian diner in the center of Alamosa! :)

    :)

Took the wife and dog for a ride in her S. She went shopping for a bit and then we took Pepper for a walk before heading back here, about 70 miles roundtrip.

My S is sick and it's off to another mechanic Tuesday to see what is ailing it.

I drove over to my dad's for oil change attempt number 2. After numerous attempts to get the oil drain plug out, it still hasn't budged at all. We have tried everything we can think of, and have never had an issue remotely close to this before. Sockets, wrenches, vise-grips, pipe wrench, bolt extractors, nothing has worked so far. Short of welding a socket to the drain plug, dropping the oil pain and replacing with a new one, or a new motor, I don't really know what else to do.

I'm just trying to keep my MINI well maintained but it hates me. :cryin:

Today I ordered new red and black chequers front and cargo area (rear seat delete) mats from cocomats.com. Told Drew from cocomats that he needs to make Dave.o a paid spokesperson...

Should have thrown some of those old batteries/anti-tailgater munitions at him first.

Bill you should pick up a new fuel filter and do that also while you are replacing the fuel pump.

Savvy, Menda and I all picked up the same pump from Colin and we are all replacing our when it warms up before the Dragon.

Had to move the 07 to get the snow blower out for that 7 inch snow ModFather mentioned.

Had to move the Countryman too out into the drive after I shoveled some to make a nice parking spot.

Snowblower made short work of it. Heavy wet stuff but I have a short drive and it faces South so the sun helps too.

Now I get to go out in the slop to the store for some misc. items before I try to find some shooting shows on the TV. No much on the FB, but I do like the commercials.

5 hours of pre-game show, WTF.
