So now you are on the list of all of us who are scrambling to get our cars fixed, built, or done before the Dragon...

Hopefully your insurance handles it fast!

    Mine is going on soon.

It's cheaper to budget for a new damper than a new engine.

Installed the springy-grippy-thingy I found in the auto salvage yard yesterday.

I may go back for the almost new drilled/slotted rotors I saw on the side impact R56-S.

It was sunny and clear here today, but too cold to enjoy any outdoor activities. Fortunately, the heat works in my mini. I went for an enthusiastic 200 mile drive through the foothills. Here's my car at the top of Pilot Mountain.

Like everybody else, I am into a certain amount of aftermarket stuff in pursuit of better performance. The Pulstars are one of those aftermarket items I have found to make higher performance (when they aren't flawed) so, compared to all of the other major after market performance things people do that create problems, this is pretty minor.

In other words I get a lot of bang for the buck with virtually no downside. Just have to make sure I get them gapped and installed properly.

I have them in my supercharged Buick Park Avenue, as well, and can really tell the difference in throttle response and overall power. In factory tests they produce anywhere from 3-10% more torque and more HP.

As you can see, I like supercharged engines - both cars have them. No turbos for me.

    False.

Yes. Why Marzo still had it hiding under his bench is beyond me. Colin needs to get on his people to get his resupply in the air.

Replaced all three wipers. Front got the PIAA AeroVOGUE hybrid blades. Rear was a Bosch replacement. The PIAA are not what I was expecting. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality. I was expecting plastic caps over a traditional metal arm... there is no plastic. Except the clip for attachment point, they are all metal.

I did nothing with my MINI today. Haven't even tried to climb down my ice covered steps. A good day to stay in.
