Ok, so the guy from Canada has cherry blossoms out and here in Ohio we are still staring at snow and it is barely 20 degrees out.

What's up with that?

 

Washed my S...it looks like a MINI again and not a saltshaker!

 

Washed La Mosa first thing this morning for her week-long date with Eric and the men of Helix starting tomorrow morning.

 

Washed a months worth of snow crud off the Porker, put the Rat-MINI back in its "display area", and tried to make some headway on other projects with limited success.

All in all, it was a good weekend... And that much closer to the Dragon!

 

That's kind of a big "whoopsie." Glad it wasn't any worse for you.

 

Stared at my empty garage stall again today, and daydreamed.

That's great! I've seen those before, but not with the Revolution "R", that's a nice touch. I'm just putting the standard Revolution header on the windshield, with an orange R to match the roof/mirrors. It looks good (photoshopped at least).

There are days where that that header you posted would work out well too. Then there are the days when I'm grouped with GT3's, Vipers, Z06's, when it works out not so well.

On the back I'm going to have the Revolution for the "R", and it will be:

R=MC2 (with the 2 as a superscript). And that's why the new name is "Einstein". Since it's both an MC2 (screw Barry), and traveling at the speed of light, it works on both accounts

 

Am about halfway thru.......

Yesterday I took Ruffian in for her pre-Dragon oil change and once-over, plus some upgrades & preventative maintenance:

* ATI damper pulley
* VibraTechnics upper motor mount
* Powerflex lower control arm bushings & front sway bar bushings
* new coil & wires (OEM)

Now it's just a matter of waiting for the departure date, with a wash/clay bar/wax immediately before. :cornut:

 

I finally clean it after a messy winter. Watch now it will snow again.

 

One of the few holidays that is important enough to be on the M/A Calendar.

 

it's just a reflection of the grass, I'm sure.

 

Sticking at home today, Friday washed the 07 to get the road crud off of it, roads are finally dry, but still getting a little snow melt.

Was not planned, went over to the range for some quik plinking with the Beretta, but it appears Fridays is not a good day without waiting an additional hour to get a lane.

Wish those folks would not take Fridays off, so us retired MINI owners can get decent walk-out range time.

Guess the Countryman is next, perhaps later today.

 

Today I am putting on my Summer wheels.

 

Summer tires are on, Removed and cleaned all ground points for the motor and the battery connections.
In the upcoming few weeks I will be going over to my friends shop and changing the oil & filter & Trans fluid. Then I will have it go in for it's Pre Dragon alignment and brake flush and ABS bleed.

I will still have a fuel filter and fuel pump to replace plus swap out my Milltek for my MOTD exhaust.

 

Swapped winters for summer, a bit dicey so early but what they hay. Then a nice bubble bath and put in the wind deflector. Time for some top down weather. And of course the wife wants the car tomorrow for sunny and 70
