Sticking at home today, Friday washed the 07 to get the road crud off of it, roads are finally dry, but still getting a little snow melt.

Was not planned, went over to the range for some quik plinking with the Beretta, but it appears Fridays is not a good day without waiting an additional hour to get a lane.

Wish those folks would not take Fridays off, so us retired MINI owners can get decent walk-out range time. :(

Guess the Countryman is next, perhaps later today.

Summer tires are on, Removed and cleaned all ground points for the motor and the battery connections.
In the upcoming few weeks I will be going over to my friends shop and changing the oil & filter & Trans fluid. Then I will have it go in for it's Pre Dragon alignment and brake flush and ABS bleed.

I will still have a fuel filter and fuel pump to replace plus swap out my Milltek for my MOTD exhaust.

Swapped winters for summer, a bit dicey so early but what they hay. Then a nice bubble bath and put in the wind deflector. Time for some top down weather. And of course the wife wants the car tomorrow for sunny and 70:(

I know EXACTLY what you mean and are feeling, Rick. After that snafu with my local club at the Vintage races at Mid Ohio, I have disassociated myself from them...completely. But I have some good friends here in M/A! The good ones, I can count upon and they can count upon me.

I'm 3-deep in MINIs here and all are paid for. I'm not going anywhere. Crashton has hooked me up with a good mechanic in C-bus, besides the dealer [with whom I have had some crap happen lately and with whom I am less than enthralled now].

That said, I hope you can fall in love with your MINI again. Besides, it is YOUR car, and it is a member of YOUR family there, in SC, and the one you are a part of on here, on M/A. You can do without your local club, as I am doing without mine. I have no regrets and neither should you.

Here is a 3 step process for you to follow.

    1. Order your parts and pick up RTV and dielectrics gel.
    2. Get them in you hands
    3. Stop over my house. ( I have the tools and Beer)

Played around with what seems to be a never ending stereo install.
Got some sound deadener in and finished running the wiring.
Also big news! I found a wire I could sacrifice for my door led. There's a small led that lights up the door pull. Since I have installed the rs door pulls, that light is not needed. ( nor did it work ) found it on the car side. Boom. Light up cross overs.

Found a nice little spot for my eq/line driver. [IMG]

Car is going to the dealer for the cruise next week.
Couldn't pass up the deal. They wanted $300 to code cruise in, and an extra $200 to install the harness. Pfft let them do it for that!!!

Changed the oil, rotated the tires and changed the plugs. But I did a BAD BAD THING!

The dealer gave me the wrong filter. I didn't look in the box like an idiot.:mad2: I always look in the box! They were closed so I had to use a Wix filter.

Yep when things get bunched up in a bind up all kinds of things can happen. Even severe chaffing.

Glad you finally tracked down your problems. You owe your DSW tires a good cleaning & an apology.
