Wash in side and out! Fixed the hatch the body shop couldn't be bothered to adjust. And tried to fix the drivers side window.

Dont feel bad, I whacked a rabbit with the Porker on the way to work today.
Wasn't even enough left to make a decent lunch.-

Sorry Nathan, if never hit a buzzard but I had one almost get me.
My older daughter and I went to an old school that had been closed for several years. As I walked in to a room from the out side I thought I heard something. As I rounded the corner a buzzard the size of Godzilla jumped out. It took flight and headed right for me! I dropped down into my cat stance and gave a karate yell, Godzilla rethought his attack. But for some reason my daughter thought I was yelling for my life, so she started running for hers. Once I ran down my daughter to tell her it was ok we returned to take pictures of Godzilla, who was still cowering just at the sight of me.-

Today I started up my MINI and let is warm up for a half hour so I could jump in and take it out for a nice run do some errands.
Even went out a second time.
It's nice being back home and able to drive my own car after being in Atlanta for a week beating on a base model VW Jetta.-

Took the wife out for lunch and a drive on the local rural twistys - which is a rarity for her to come. After less than 2 minutes she said that she's glad that she's not coming to the dragon (although I registered her).

Funny, I lost last year by going over ever so slightly. The person who beat me guessed lower...and didn't register himself. Still had a ball at MOTD.

Yesterday changed my oil and air filter.
Today took her to MAG for a walnut blasting. Got sparks too.
Wow did that make a difference. My last one was about 50,000 miles ago, give or take, so I was overdue.-

Took the Porker out in our excuse of a snow storm last night to hang out with the Wyoming club (MINI-COW) and had a heck of a good time, it feels good to be out with actual people again!

Went to C&C Lafayette, CO this morning, MINI5280 club meeting and short drive, lots of April fever at the C&C. Three clubs were meeting here before drives or museum visits.
Lots of nice iron and exotics, a bunch of MINIs and Mini Classics.
Dick's Garage (ModFather) rolled out the Rat Rod, see his build thread.
I will post a C&C link later.-

Yesterday, I drove to HELIX to get a short shifter, new RMW cam, and vipec installed, but mostly to have Jan tune it on the dyno. It was great to see all of the Philly-RMW family members!
Special thanks to Jan, Eric and Mike for the hours of great work that they put into my car!-
