I know EXACTLY what you mean and are feeling, Rick. After that snafu with my local club at the Vintage races at Mid Ohio, I have disassociated myself from them...completely. But I have some good friends here in M/A! The good ones, I can count upon and they can count upon me.

I'm 3-deep in MINIs here and all are paid for. I'm not going anywhere. Crashton has hooked me up with a good mechanic in C-bus, besides the dealer [with whom I have had some crap happen lately and with whom I am less than enthralled now].

That said, I hope you can fall in love with your MINI again. Besides, it is YOUR car, and it is a member of YOUR family there, in SC, and the one you are a part of on here, on M/A. You can do without your local club, as I am doing without mine. I have no regrets and neither should you.

    2. Get them in you hands

Played around with what seems to be a never ending stereo install.
Got some sound deadener in and finished running the wiring.
Also big news! I found a wire I could sacrifice for my door led. There's a small led that lights up the door pull. Since I have installed the rs door pulls, that light is not needed. ( nor did it work ) found it on the car side. Boom. Light up cross overs.

Found a nice little spot for my eq/line driver. [IMG]

Car is going to the dealer for the cruise next week.
Couldn't pass up the deal. They wanted $300 to code cruise in, and an extra $200 to install the harness. Pfft let them do it for that!!!

Changed the oil, rotated the tires and changed the plugs. But I did a BAD BAD THING!

The dealer gave me the wrong filter. I didn't look in the box like an idiot.:mad2: I always look in the box! They were closed so I had to use a Wix filter.

Yep when things get bunched up in a bind up all kinds of things can happen. Even severe chaffing.

Glad you finally tracked down your problems. You owe your DSW tires a good cleaning & an apology.

Wash in side and out! Fixed the hatch the body shop couldn't be bothered to adjust. And tried to fix the drivers side window.

Sorry Nathan, if never hit a buzzard but I had one almost get me.
My older daughter and I went to an old school that had been closed for several years. As I walked in to a room from the out side I thought I heard something. As I rounded the corner a buzzard the size of Godzilla jumped out. It took flight and headed right for me! I dropped down into my cat stance and gave a karate yell, Godzilla rethought his attack. But for some reason my daughter thought I was yelling for my life, so she started running for hers. Once I ran down my daughter to tell her it was ok we returned to take pictures of Godzilla, who was still cowering just at the sight of me.

Today I started up my MINI and let is warm up for a half hour so I could jump in and take it out for a nice run do some errands.

Even went out a second time.

It's nice being back home and able to drive my own car after being in Atlanta for a week beating on a base model VW Jetta.
