I really wish I could be at the dragon this year, but I have a family gathering to attend. It's only a 3 hour drive yet so far away. It would be so cool to meet many of you. Minis, beer and cigars are three of my five favorite things. I guess I'll have a good beer and a cigar on the beach while I wish I was there.

 

Stopping on the way to MOTD tonight at Cheshire Inn St. Louis. Fox and Hound Pub in the hotel.

 

Cleaned the inside and glass. Mounted my gps/phone holder. Checked all the fluids again and tire pressures. Getting stuff packed.

 

Well after my swaybar installation our crack test driver said he wanted even moar cornerfast. So this morning the crack pit crew of Chuck & Babs tightened this up another notch. All is well & I'm a happy old fart. :smilewinkgrin:

 

Stopped in at Peg Leg Porker for a late lunch on the way to MOTD!!!!

 

Speed tax is not fun.....

 

Dropped some leds behind my air vents, on a separate switch so I can have them on when I want, tempted to get some sound reactive LEDs for the door speakers

Organizing a drive through some twisty roads around the Vancouver BC area.
Since nobody driving a MINI has responded, I opened it up to other cars of interest.

Motoring bird...followed me (I was driving my MINI, bird was flying) for about 2kms into the office parking lot and tried to follow me into the building.



It didn't have a security pass so I didn't let him in.

 

First thing tomorrow morning, I am running up to the state line... Adding a new sticker (last years is still there) and heading to Fontana for a farewell till next year!

 

I took off all those stickers off long ago and I am not selling my MINI.

 

Enjoying Columbia tonight, we stopped in at a Brew Pub on our way home from MOTD. Great Garlic Pizza! And no critters to avoid on the road.....

 

Sure hope it can be easily fixed, things like this just make me want to move

to the top of a mountain and never come down (except to drive!).

 

That's like 1,000 miles or something in American......right

Today I paid a plumber $200.00 to fix my water line...so I can wash my MINI.

 

Did not drive my MINI today. I had pulled the Cold Air Intake filter out and gave it a wash, let dry and re-oil.

While the filter was drying, I went to Vancouver BC's annual All British Field Meet. A lot of nice cars there.

 

Yesterday I cleaned the inside of my car for a few hours. It was the fist time I cleaned the inside since the Dragon.

I wiped down the outside to remove all the pollen and RainX-ed the windows.

Taking wife to the airport today and I think I will take a long fun ride home. :lol::ihih:

 

I'll trust you covered the carpet in case of spills.

 

Got a replacement seat back for the Recaros I got a while back. Tomorrow might have a go replacing the repaired one... or let it ride until it fails. At least I have the back-up in hand now.
