Very Cool! So many reasons to give up a Miata for the options listed!

Just a question for ya Chuck; Did you get any sleep after leaving that toy store?

Well, it's been an interesting day for sure. Installed a center arm rest in Pepper and went for a 150 mile cruise to test it out. When I got back, I got a message from Russ at MiniFini that the teardrop trailer I got from him has been stolen from his shop in Columbus--BUMMER. Pic's will follow in case any Cols. people happen to see it. It is a LiL Buddy 4tf teardrop trailer with MiniFini on the side.

And then. I open a letter and find out that I am a beneficiary under my deceased sister's will. That's a good thing...

Locutus looks better than the 09 JCW who berm'd it at our MITM track event on Friday.

Sounds like you had a bad day, great you are OK and the MINI will get a new body transplant, I hope soon.

Sounds like you did similar fun and games with a drop off, then correction. Both MINIs did their jobs, great for MINIs, not so great for you and our guy from Friday.

Take care, i will watch the build for GPness 2.

    Don

Today I replaced the foam seal above the radiator and the cigarette lighter socket. The MINI gods smiled on me, all went well.

I actually did this yesterday but upgraded my speakers all round, turned out to be very easy! What was even better was that there were already new speakers mounted in the doors albeit not properly.

So upgraded the tweeters and upgraded the 6x9s in the back, sound is much better. Also managed to find a Nintendo DS game under my back seat!

Glad to see you're out and about in that great countryside Dick. Nothing better to clean out the dust bunnies.

Took the MINI and went in to get some work done at the shop this morning....
Did cad drawings until my head hurt....
Will be going back in tomorrow for some more of the same stuff...
With all of the day to day interruptions in a 5 day workweek, I needed the weekend to be able to concentrate.... Got a lot done...

On a side note, I received a nice invitation for a meal at the last restaurant job.... They will be doing a trial run with the new employees and will be treating everyone that participated in the build to a meal... Should be fun... I'll take some pixsures of the event....:D

Stopped by Helix in Philly a few weeks ago and bought a Hotchkis Sport rear sway bar. Had it shipped since the PA sales tax was higher than shipping. After a couple of weekends spent rallying with the MINI I finally had time this weekend to get it installed.

Drove out to Lincoln University, PA to help an old college roommate move into his new house. Then to Wilmington, DE to see some minor league ball from the Governor's box...

Na... Mine is still all track car underneath, and its going to stay that way! [emoji12] That rat took the trophy for its class, the Jamison bottle as a radiator overflow was a nice touch. [emoji2]

That 510 was beautifully done! If I were ever to build a classic car, it would be one of those. I love the old boxy Datsuns! [emoji12]
