Oil change! And ordered some new tires to (finally) replace my stock run flats. I was trying to be all frugal and wear them down...

When they come in, I'll finally be able to put Monty's new shoes on that I got last Christmas. Hooray!

 

Dick, yours is great as always but I sure loved that split window VW!

 

Co-worker (upon my recommendation) just drove to work in a brand new MINI Cooper S 5-door. Unfortunately, he was not in position to factory order and then wait for one with manual transmission. He still thinks it's great fun so far.


So I sent him instructions on how to use the launch control :biggrin5:

Finished up with getting Steve's car ready tonight for this weekend's racing at Buttonwillow.

I might not make it to the Dragon this year, because thats where the $$$ came from... But you can't pass up a deal like this when it pops up.

Checked the tire pressure, oil, other fluids because...ROADTRIP. Going to Detroit tuned tomorrow to get a brake upgrade. WooHoo....

 

Sold my auto valve body to RevMax, as a core....

 

Having seemingly nothing better to do today I visited my MINI.

Picked mine up from Best this evening. All better. FYI: yet ANOTHER vacuum leak caused by the powdercoat on my sc horns. Not saying that move was the worst MINI decision I've made, but it's right up there.

Oh, and swapped out my MSD coil for OEM.

Still having issues with the boot leaking, had to dry out the battery compartment again

Put in a new starter, hoping to solve my starting issues and nothing changed.:frown2:

Aaaaaand finally ordered a new ignition switch, fingers crossed.:biggrin5:
