That is the ONLY kind of heat shield worth doing, if any at all. You already have my respect for being able to figure that out.

I always have my lights on disco ball mode and that was one of the coolest things when I figured I could roll down the windows with my key fob[emoji6]

Me too. Having seen some of the vehicles coming out of there though... I'm not worried.

I did see this one there when I dropped off today though.

That should buff right out with a little compound and a wool pad though.[emoji13]

The entire wheel was coated which decreased the diameter of the center bore. I should have ground out the paint first but I thought if greased it good a tight fit would be "okay". Another lesson learned, millions to go!

Felt bad reading your post. Hope you get a great repair and it just becomes a faded memory.

I used NCS Expert. Read through everything like 5 times before I did it. Some folks really messed up their mini but once I did it, it wasn't that hard.

    This is true...

I never had the guts to any modding of the ECU program with NCS Expert...

Sure, it's nice use lite version to test compatibility then buy the full version.

Allows battery registration. Customizing settings, and reading all bmw codes (more than obd ii).

It backs up your configuration before making changes.
