Not a dang thang.
This morning was Achilles' tendon repair on left foot. Won't be driving the mini for a bit.

 

Jeff.... Is the warranty still good?
They shoot horses for that you know...

I'm thinking the guitar player and I are similarly medicated.

 

Brought MINI into my buddy's shop for : install top side engine mount, brakes, and an oil change.

There has been some major changes at the MINI dealer I was bringing my car to so I think it's time to cut the cord with the dealership.

 

I want some snow! Send some this way next week. Christmas without snow just doesn't seem right. Unless your from the south that is.

 

It's not Christmas without the best Christmas movie marathon of all time...

Plans coming together to further mod the car. Got a call from the insurance adjuster concerning the diminished value claim after my dustup with a Tahoe a while back. Didn't get as much as I thought it should have been, but it'll cover the cost of the JCW Pro Tuning Kit. That'll be going on after the first of the year.

 

I decided I oughta at least start and warm em both up today. Shoulda driven em but, well, I hear alcohol and motor vehicles don't mix all that great... :crazy:

 

Yesterday and today it has been VERY warm. Well, I had shopping to do. presents to wrap, project to finish BUT... I said the hell with it and went out driving. I guess that's why I was up till 3:00 am. BUT, it has been the best Christmas ever.

 

Drove Teresa to the YMCA for her class. Then drove back home. The YMCA is closed on Christmas. She did not mention that. Good for them.

 

I would have done the same, because the Rat is on E from moving it in and out of the garage when I'm working out there... I let it come up to full temp before shutting it down. [emoji6] But, as soon as the front tires hit the ice patch in front of the garage, it gets stuck on flat ground! [emoji30]

That should make things fun getting this paperweight Mazda out of here Saturday! [emoji12]

The lighting is strange, but that looks like black-eyed purple/purple haze. Could be space blue, too. It's looks too dark to be hyper blue, and indie blue wasn't available on the facelift cars.

 

Angeles Crest New Years Day

Drove some great canyons today with a group of MINIs and P cars, 200 miles total of sunny twisty driving!
Due to an ongoing issue with my left (clutch) knee I haven't driven this car much since last May, forgot what a hoot it is to carve in! Today I had a co driver so I went ahead and tortured my knee-surgery soon......

 

Also a Justa. If that helps to narrow the paint options for the shade of blue.

 

Man I'm jealous, that place is big enough to have a few projects going on at one time.
