Looked at my clean car in the garage where it will stay until Friday / Saturday Blizzard passes. Expecting 12-18 inches of snow.

    Fffffffffff :snowblower:

Man that's a bummer Dave. I drove mine up and back to East Bay MINI to get the passenger air bag recall work done. That's about 300 miles in 60 deg. +- temps all day. A bit of tule fog (less than 1/8-1/4 mile visibility) this morning, but a great trip on a Winters day.

We're looking at up to 24". Do they make a blade for the R60? I'm sticking with my 2500HD Suburban.

My Mini is in the storage building and will stay there until this stuff goes away.
It's about 100 yards from my back door so I won't be checking on it for a while.
The Mini usually sits next to the Galactic Cruiser(you'll notice I gave up on clearing the snow off the Suburban)
The snow is still coming down, and I don't have any plans to leave the house until things clear up some. Unless I get the urge to play around with the GC. :cornut:

I have a tail light that collects water. so I think I'm going to cut it open and get rid of the chrome and reseal it. Its to cold to do anything els. Glad I got that new heater for the garage.

    Sunny and 60 here today...

Trashing some stuff out of the garage, moving usable parts up to the loft for storage... Gotta make room to build a room! [emoji12]

Devised a route plan for a drive through some twisty roads and hills that don't involve snow. A couple of MINIs in our group are GPs with supersoft tires that don't do well at very cold temps.

Anybody (MINI drivers please) in the Vancouver BC area interested in joining us for a drive, please feel free to meet up with Size MINI Club at Moscrop Secondary School's parking lot in Burnaby at 10am on Jan 31/16 for this drive.

I've always wondered what the dynamics are that create the perfect scenario for a nail like that to enter the side wall like that. It just seems like it would be tough to make that happen.... The odds must be staggering.... How many nails would you need run over that are laying flat on the ground and be able to enter the sidewall 90 degrees to the tire.... And yet it happens.....

My thought was similar and went on to think about how lucky I was it a tire and not sheet-metal.

Took mine out of the storage building in anticipation of my car wash guy dropping by Monday. Supposed to be nice with a high in the 60's. Gonna get it spiffed up inside and out and it'll get the first coat of wax since the body work was done in late October.
