The dealership I was dealing with was too busy with their "crazy 8's" sale yesterday to talk to me so I went downtown (Vancouver BC) to have lunch instead of visiting the dealership to have a look at what Countryman(s) they had on the showroom floor.
The other dealership called me and left a message that they would let me have an F60 for a long term (2 or 3 days) test drive if I want. Problem with this dealership is, I have been there multiple times in the past, even when I bought my first MINI with appointments for test drives and they never had a car for me to drive. Would this time be different? My wife and I were there 3 weeks ago and we ended up waiting hours for them to put gas in the two that we eventually did test drive.

In anycase, I still have to call my financial planner to see if it is okay to sell some of my investments and buy the car with cash. So there is no rush.

Use a reverse drill bit, most of the time they'll just screw right out.

Thanks @Crashton. Because I am so ocd about my oil. I took the chain and guide back out just now, cleaned off the guide then put a magnet down in to the oil pan to get what fell all the way down.

Gotta love it when you think you're for sure getting pulled over, but don't :) Even better when someone else get's in trouble.

Pulled the headliner yesterday so I can drop it off this week. I thought about replacing it myself but after reading a few posts here I thought I would go with the majority's advice and leave it to the pros.

Replaced the exhaust manifold, because of broken flex pipe and gaskets. Long term fuel trim back to normal and P 2096 went away after several miles.

I got pulled over in the Helmet yesterday. It was a catch and release. Nice Cop just gave me a warning. Thats what happens when your too lazy to take your V1 out for a short drive.

Heat will not hurt the V1. I had mine in a rental in southern Florida for 10 days and never took it down. The car sat in the sun all day in 95+ temps and was hot ass hell but always worked fine.

You do need to hard wire yours.

Touched up four 1/8” chips on the hood
and a small area on the front bumper
that cracked and flaked off after a minor impact.
Also some touch up of a scrape on my
    wife’s 2001 VW Cabrio.

Took my car out for a nice ride so I could ship my old JCW brakes to their new home.
