    That’s just stupid.

My wife had a screw in a tire on her Lexus RX350 and the tires needed to be replaced. We ordered a new set of Michelin’s last week.
They have a service called ASAP tire care that we used. They pick up the tires and bring them directly to your house with a tech. He jacked yo the car took off all four tires and changed them in his larger MB Sprinter van. The van had full air, real pro tire machine and high end balancing machine. All this was done in our driveway and payment is done on the phone. $77.97 fee with my AAA discount.

I took it out for a test drive and the tires are perfectly balanced and rims were not harmed at all.

ASAP tires work out of Tirerack. I see their Van's parked in front of Tirerack all the time.

Today I changed the oil in the Helmet. I also greased the sway bar mounts and the rear control arms.

I got my new TSW X-brace, some PS fluid and some brake fluid for a long over-due bleed.

Where are you staying, I thought Fontana was closed. This morning I told my wife I was thinking about getting up really early, drive 6 hours to the Dragon and come home in one day. My wife told me I am crazy, like after 31 years she did not know that?

It can all be done from the top without dropping the exhaust. I did not do it myself my buddy did it for me while he had my car. He said It was simple.

yesterday.....Took the wheels off my sons S2000. as soon as we got them in the truck for me to take to Discount auto for some new Conti DWS, FedEx pulled up with my sons new exhaust. That was unexpected. I noticed it needed new brake pads on the rear. Dropped off the rims and went by the parts store for pads. Got home and we started on the exhaust. As you would guess a 20 yearly exhaust fought us the whole way, brut force won the day. Son took my truck to pick up the new mounted tires as I did the brakes. time for a quick dinner. Then a buffing using some Sonax it really made the paint look great. Next we applied the Jet coat sealer. That had to sit on the car about 20min. so we used that time to put the wheels on the car. we removed the the sealer and it was time for bed. Started at 9:30 and finished at 11.
I woke up in the middle of the night sore all over. I may be getting to old for marathon sessions

Pictures?? I forgot to take one. I am getting old

i have has so many effing problems with the Innovative wide band sensor and calibration it’s getting thrown in the trash one and for all. Word of advice to everyone considering a wide band DO NOT BUY INNOVATIVE!

Today I ordered a new full Zeitronix wide band system.

While not as good as a true LSD I think it is worlds better than an open diff. I guess if you have big powa you may need an LSD. Although with enough powa you just trail smoke from both tires more efficiently.

My German bread van has an e-diff & it works well for me. No way I'll eat the cost of putting an LSD in. I'd rather use that money toward a new GTI that comes with an LSD. On second thought it's great not having car payments. ;)

Just got back from Discount Tire. The tire was repairable. Patch on the inside with a plug up through the hole.

Has koni stopped doing the free rebuilds on the yellows and reds? Or is that showing my old car guy age?

Curious, a new set is always nice.

Had my MINI in for an oil change and new front brakes. I told them I didn't want a Countryman for a courtesy car, so they gave me this:

British car club had a rally today. The wife and I took the Helmet. This is the first time we have done anything with them. They were a great bunch of people. Now my wife is saying she will miss the Helmet.
