The garage is a man's place and the rest of the house is the woman's.

Tell her to keep her crap in the rest of the house.

I installed Way Motor Works turbo wrap. It installs under the factory heat shield and greatly reduces under hood temperatures as well as improving turbocharger efficiency.

WMW Turbo Heat Shield - Way Motor Works

I also remover the phony grill in the air scoop, making it functional.

I like the idea, but how would I keep my breakfast tacos warm at club events?

    I accidently ordered a new exhaust...oopsie. :D

Also, I found out that my CoCoMats shipped yesterday, hooray! Unfortunately there's a thief going around my neighborhood stealing packages from people's doorsteps so Aaron at Outmotoring was nice enough to forward me the tracking number. This way I can lie in wait and crescent kick any would-be thieves in the side of the head...

Love the customer service at Outmotoring.

In Nathan's honor, I drove my MINI to my second session of cardio-rehab. Drove it home, too.

Drove the Blu one to the Vet. George is good for another 6,000 miles. He's purring like a kitten. :D

I hadn't driven the Cooper for awhile, so I took it out for a spin after the dog and I did the walking routine. I'm getting my S ready for a trip next week to see a friend in PA. Now that all the Dr. appts. are done for awhile, it's time to get out and enjoy the Fall colors.

Got to see this while working at my daughter's band competition on Saturday. Would've much rather been in that lineup.

not today exactly... but yesterday I stopped off to see the lads at Helix and some minor maintenance taken care of and as part of that made an upgrade in the process. Oil pan gasket (was hoping for the crank speed senor gasket but anywho... resulted in a fresh mid cycle oil change), trans motor mount replaced with a VibraTechnic street version, and then the rear sway bar bushings were replaced to quiet the clunks down some.

The Check-less-mate is good to go. Unfortunately, we are heading straight into winter.

Went on a dirt road ride through the sticks, with the Countryman owners of MINI5280.
It was a nice scenic drive, ending up at one of the close to town lakes for lunch.

Other than the Countrymen, and my Jeep, Kristan (the Artistic Reflection "Eyeshades" girl brought her R53, and we had a Clubman in the group too.

After the dog tired out, I went home and de-crapped some more of the garage, and went to run some errands... Not a bad way to spend a Saturday. :D

That's pretty cool! There are a few of those pink MINIs running around. My granddaughter Aubree and hers. A true mini owner, she has already started modding hers, started with some Hello Kitty vinyl.

We delivered some last minute supplies to my crew. They're catering a post wedding party at a local winery. While there, I discovered that the owner has a '14 Mini. To the best of my knowledge, counting mine, her car brings the total number of Minis in this county of 830 square miles to three!

Haven't you noticed each time a new part gets put in, the car handles & drives so much better? Mine does everytime. It reciprocates love better than any other I've owned.:D

It's funny...this is the first time I have had to replace any bulbs on my S and it will turn 100k miles next week, all put on by me. Even though my '06 is aging, so is its owner! The improved brightness will make BOTH of us last longer...and safely, too, I hope!

Went for a little spin tonite with our British Auto Club. One of our members is a member at a very interesting Art studio, where dozens of locals work on and display their wares.

This shot of my Mini is kinda grainy since an iPhone was in play at the time... Nevertheless, this arch is a local piece of history that we thought looked kinda cool at nightfall. Enjoy!

This morning I took my Mini grocery shopping. Every time I do this and am loading up a week's worth of groceries for a family of 4 (plus 2 dogs), when people drive by I swear that they slow down and stare as if to see how it's all going to play out.

Well, it FITS, people. Haven't they seen how much gold they were able to fit in The Italian Job? Stop yer gawking. :p

As an aside, I just noticed I have glitter up my nose. This is what happens when you have two little girls...
