I do still have the paperwork (bought from Way Motor Works).

Borla is asking me to go somewhere and get it welded back and they would reimburse..
My regular mechanic doesnt think it would work based on the picture, but I think I'll need to have him see it in person to tell.

you are correct. I spend a lot of time watching for pot holes and bridge joints that are bulking. between the tires and the coil overs it can be very harsh. I actually have to be more careful with the Helmet than the Exige. The front splitter is 4 inches off the ground so I have to be carful with driveways. The Exige does not have much give ether. It has 225 45/16 front and 245 40/17 rear.
The year I took the Helmet to the Dragon I was amazed how fast it can corner.

Not yet, and I am not sure if I will ask.
I may wait and see if it fails, and then push for a new can.
I did notify them I did attempt to get it re-welded.

Climbed under the car to get a quick pic for documentation

I put it off for a while, they were getting week and looking pretty ratty. I finally gave in after almost knocking myself out. I opened the boot, moved forward not realizing the boot dropped a few inches and walked right into it.

I was sorting through pictures from a recent trip to the UK. When I saw this little shop in Bath, England, I thought of MA!

Seating on my butt watching TV today and was thinking of going to play golf tomorrow. I thought I would breakout Checkers out for a ride. That always makes me feel better.

On Saturdays one of my grandsons plays flag football but the parking lot semi resembles a demolition derby heat so I don’t drive the MINI.

My youngest son drove home Sunday for a visit, he lives about 3:30 from us. His truck needs a new valve cover gasket and sway bar bushings. He is starting his first big aviation job this month! So proud! He is a pilot also. I told him leave the truck I would fix it and drive the Helmet for the week. His truck is spotless, its a 2003 Ranger. I know the Helmet is in good hands. He texted and said I am not getting my car back.. yea right!

Hi....I've been out of town. From anywhere in north America, you can't drive a car to Juneau Alaska. There isn't any road into there. You have to either fly, or take a boat. Yet, I found a MINI there. [IMG]

Went down to the Mini today so I had to pull the right front wheel off so I could drain the catch can. It's been a some time since I've done it. Getting ready for the car show next Sunday. I'll try and get some pictures.

I must be getting old, but I took Checkers to my detailer today for a good wash job for the car show Sunday. They did a great job.

Took Checkers for a fill up and get lunch for tomorrow (Popeyes nuggets, corn chips, taco chips, olives, pickles, mac&cheese and drinks) that should be enough. Now next is to get the wife to get up at 6 am it's an hour and a half away.
