Washed and waxed my Cooper and Clubman today..

Not too many more nice days left this year.

Last weekend I took a 500 mile road trip to Iowa after the club drive to Starved Rock, and most of it was in the rain.

Speaking of tires, changed to winter
tires last week on both my MINI
    and my wife’s M240i.
Her car got diverted into a construction
detour and the summer tires got
    plastered with asphalt/tar/gravel
that won’t come off with any product
    that I’ve tried.
Turns out scraping/peeling it off with
a 1” chisel works (can get the 1/16th inch
plus of hard amazingly adherent gunk
off with a lot of effort with the chisel
and doesn’t cut the tread rubber if
    you’re careful).
Thank god these are Michelin PS4S
tires with wide blocks and no siping
    or it would be impossible.
It’s taking about 3 hours per tire to get
back down to the tread and so far I have
    1 1/2 tires done.
    Fun, fun fun…

I used Jetseal on the cars I don’t want ceramic coat. It is great stuff. Almost as good as coating just doesn’t last as long. You car looks great!

Thanks I’m always cleaning because of black color but it always looks good when done! Finally received my vanity plate R56S after waiting 6 months

It looks good to me the jetsam last a year I think or 6 months? When I coated my car i did not put anything on top of it. The guy that detailed the 308 to get it ready for sale put like 3 products on it LOL.
This is what the Helmet looked like after I voted it. My son has the car now.

Only thing left for my install is to do the necessary coding then it should be complete. Hard part is coordinating with the coder to do this. It should be done soon though.

I got my digital speedometer and 2023 Infotainment 8.8” touchscreen upgrade completed today. I got @Bimmer Fixes to remote into my PC this afternoon and make the necessary coding to make everything work perfectly. The upgrade looks absolutely amazing and gives my 2017 JCW a new facelift interior.

The OE mirror caps that were on my car was scratched up by the previous owner so I replaced them for these carbon fiber mirror caps to “clean up” my car’s appearance.

I'm running 225/45/17s and they workout just fine. I like the look it fills the well and gives me a larger sidewall for a potholes.

lol that’s funny on my end because my new mini came from CT I had it shipped here when I bought it and he had new snow tires which I immediately took off snows off the rims and put some summer tires on then had the snows put on new set of 18 inch rims from discount tire and living in the south we definitely don’t need snow tires here but if I ever decide to drive somewhere where there is snow I’ll definitely have them! Not really sure why he had snows he never drove it in winter and was always garaged?
