I drove it, might have even gone 5 miles too!
Ohh, I bought a AAA + Membership for it too.

Get well Redbeard....
So here's what I did with my MINI today...
I saw where Moon Eyes out in California had a big "Old School" car show recently. It piqued my interest, remembering them from the old hot rod days when I was in high school..... So I ordered up one of their 2" Moon Eyes shift knobs. It came with a packet of various size threaded inserts designed to fit American iron, but not the unique MINI stick shift. I contacted Doug Whalen, who was nice enough to make the conversion over to his unique "quick disconnect" adapter. Doug did a super quick turn around with superb machining of the Moon Eyes knob.
It now has a prominent place in my MINI, adding a nice splash of color to the interior.....

First, let me premise this post by saying it's a beautiful, sunny day here in PA.
Ok, so my boss asked me to take a drive and pick up some posters we had printed. Ok, sure.
Well my boss is a BIG driving enthusiast, and knows I love to zip around in my little MINI, so he mapped this freakin' awesome drive there on nothing, but twisty back roads......
So that's what I did for the last couple hours.
My job rocks!!!!!!!!!-

I told my wife, this morning, that she looked good in the Counrtyman and they fit each other. She then informed me that the Countryman looked good with her in it. This is getting completely out of hand.

Installed a set of EBC Red Stuffs, and went on a 75 mile super spirited drive to start bedding them in. So far, so good.

Todays DCMM MTTB4!
Full run around the DC/MD Beltway. While it not sound like much, for ME, it was pretty awesome. My FIRST drive since surgery 12 weeks ago. I am sore as all s*** hell ****** damn now, BUT, it was SOOOOOOOOOOWORTHIT! Viva la MINI! Great cause, and GREAT to see some of my MINI friends and met some more new ones!
I DID however manage to replace my side markers, smoke out the tail lights, and do a few things here, and there, BUT that was after I got home today-
