I sat there on a stool, sipping a cold Longboard, contemplating removing the starter from my Classic Mini. There's always tomorrow...

Puppy sitting in the Colorado snow on Mother's Day, watching Patty bond with her new pup, I do believe she does not miss babies around the house.

Our youngest boy is 27, puppy is 9 weeks. We all needed naps today.

Well, she DID like the sticker on the back because it is from the area where she was born. As for the dragon eyes and the M7 STRPs, they are beneath the bonnet...do you REALLY think she will EVER look under the hood? I dunno if she even realizes there is an engine there...whatever. Now, if she ever DOES open the bonnet, those eyes will scare the living crap outta her!:lol:

Seth that forth picture is awesome, and I have added it to my folder of MINI's for my screen saver.

I did a full detail of my car which included 3 layers of wax. Replaced my OEM license plate lights with LED's from Out-motoring, fixed a flashing HID fog light which I found had water in the connector. I also removed my LOUD Dragon exhaust and hung it back on the wall and put my Milltek back on.

My latest project is restoring my OEM Areo bumper from all the stone chips and a small crack and making it perfect again. Doing all sanding by hand taking my time starting with 80 grit and working up in steps. (80, 180, 300, 400, 1000) bullydog adhesion promoter and primer used at each level with guide coats.

The Helmet got the full spa treatment today. Detergent wash, clay bar, Machine Polish 3, Machine Polish 4, paint sealant. Striped the old Penetrol, applied new. Removed all the belt line moldings and resprayed with Plastidip. Detailed the interior. It's time for a cold beer and a nap. [IMG]

A new car for a 16 year old? Is that wise?
I thought a first car was supposed to be disposable, for when they wreck it.

Got some good news from my mechanic today. I should have my car back tomorrow. I'm planning to leave work early to pick it up and then put alot of unnecessary miles on it.

Took the Grand-babies out for a long drive on the country roads around home. I think the Granddaughter is trying to get her hair to match the Mini. It's a work in progress says she. :biggrin5:
