I saw my MINI today. Walked around it one time too. It's dusty.

This morning we got revved at by some turd in a Celica while at a stop light. First time that's ever happened to me. :frown2:
I gave him my best "You're an idiot" look and hopped on the freeway.
I've had so many new experiences since I've owned this car...-

Transfered parts from the living room floor to the Mini. Loaded additional parts from storage building to Mini. I have a 0630 appointment Tuesday to get a bunch of work done at my independent Mini specialist. I have the whole day scheduled and he said he can finish all the work in one day. I hope so, because it's a 70 mile drive. Otherwise I'll be sleeping in the car Tuesday night. I'll update on the work done on that night or Wednesday AM.

Spent 10 hours at my independent Mini shop (Euro Motors) today. Super Technician Chris did the following:
Replaced water pump (OEM)
replaced thermostat (OEM)
replaced turbo oil feed & return lines (DT)
replaced seals in heat exchanger (DT)
replaced accessory drive belt (OEM)
replaced spark plugs (NGK)
Changed oil and filter (Mobil1/OEM)
While waiting for the motor to cool down to perform the above work he installed my new Eibach 20mm rear sway bar and a new (to me) sport suspension. The shocks, struts, and springs came from a JCW with only 7K miles when they were yanked to install coil overs.
I definitely recommend these guys if you live in the area or just want to drive down for the day. They do quality work for a reasonable price.
A very productive day, except for getting caught in rush hour traffic and a torrential downpour on the way home. Finally got to use my rear fog lights though! :biggrin5:-

Put R56 JCW rear brakes on my R52. The car has no idea what it is anymore.
Also replaced a couple of rubber exhaust mounts and fixed a pesky rattle.
And went for a short-but-glorious drive.-
