Got my snow tires on my CMS ALL4 (finally!) after driving through nearly a foot of snow last week!

On a side note, the stock Bridgestone Dueller performance tires are performing far better than I expected! 20K flawless miles so far, not the rough ride I envisioned, and this after I couldn't give them away last year...no interest from any of the BB's

Yeah. It's the S10 kit from www.greeneperformance.com. It is taking some getting used to. Unless you have a performance aftermarket clutch, this thing will make you left leg burn a little.

Best way to describe the difference is to feel the difference between the r56 and the R53. How much stiffer the R53 feels to the R56... add that difference in pedal stiffness back on to the stock R53 clutch.

Anyone driving an F56 manual, will be lucky to get my clutch to the floor now. (And if I ever take one for a hell ri..... I mean test drive again, I'll have to keep from putting my foot through the floorboard.)

I took the wife out last night in the rain to go shopping in my MINI and ran to a few more stores today. (Still raining)

Holy Sh*t does my car bead water in the rain. I guess I will wash it tomorrow and put it back in the garage.

Today, I spent my day at work making my coworkers to include the plant manager and the CEO's think I was going to trade the Porkchop for a new truck...

My Dad, just picked up a 2015 Chevy Silverado over the weekend, and we have been planing this swap all week, just to throw people off!

So tomorrow, I am taking the truck, and he is taking the Porker... Should be a fun Friday for both of us. :D

I don't have any winter tires, so I took the summer air out and put winter air in the tires.:p

I drove my kiddo to school (which I rarely ever do since I have to be at work before school starts)! :D

It really kills me how many people driving around the school don't pay any attention to what's going on around them. Driving near the school, I saw one minivan pull out of an intersection into oncoming traffic (I think the guy thought EVERYONE had a stop sign), and not 30 seconds later, a white Prius parked on the side of the road pulls out directly in front of me, and stops in the middle of the street. I mean, seriously...if you're gonna be a dumba** driver, at least make sure you do it away from an elementary school.

    Anyhoo...end rant. :p

You are a brave, brave man. I'm a typical love-to-shop kinda gal but my cut-off is two weeks before Christmas and then I stay away from stores and stick to the Internet. I can get hostile in rude holiday crowds...

My girlfriend gave me a few parts for christmas!

    -canton racing coolant reservoir
-She had my shop manager send my supersprint header, high flow cat and GP intercooler off to Swaintech! The header and cat are being ceramic coating, the intercooler is getting their heat dissipating coating. I am not sure if that will do anything for cooling, but it was nice of her!

I bought my mini her own present:
Getting a full setup from Jan @ RMW.
-ported polished head with oversized inconel valves and race springs and ceramic coating
    -Cam
    -injectors
    -RMW tune

I drove to the local produce stand and bought 30 lbs of navel oranges, 10 lbs of satsumas, and 20 lbs of apples! And I didn't even have to fold down my back seats... :D

    No Scurvy for me. ;)

Replaced the MINI OEM tires (on the left) with 215/40-18 Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 (on the right... non-runflat).

"And now for the rest of the story."

One of my OEM Pirelli P-Zero runflats (205/40-18) had a slow leak (1 psi a day). I couldn't find a nail, so I took it in to Discount Tires to see if they could find a leak (perhaps the stem, I hoped). One of their guys destroyed the bead while removing the tire. They offered me a free exact tire, but it would take 3-5 days to get it in. I'm on a road-trip tomorrow, so needed a different option (there aren't very many in the OEM or +Zero size). I asked for the best deal on a set of Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 tires. Discontinued. The ONLY tires they had nearby were Hankook Ventus(?) or the Michelins. They offered me a 50% discount on the tires, and I took them up on the offer.

And yes, the tire shown on the left is my temp spare I had them put on so I could run errands waiting for the new tires to come up on the truck from San Antonio.

Today I finally installed my OC3 mat sensor simulator and it worked perfectly.

No more airbag light code when I scan my car. YAY

If you have an R53 with an airbag light on 9 times out of 10 the passenger OC3 mat is bad.

This will fix it in 10 min and all you have to do when you are done is scan the car and clear the code.

They also make these for the R56.

This is the exact one I ordered from the same seller.

Drove out to New Albany for MoM Donuts with some of my MoM friends. Decent turnout, hot coffee and fresh donuts.

Meh. She comes from some tough stock. She'll be fine once she gets rested up, and the bug passes.

Just ran the Porker up to MINI of Loveland for a couple oil filters, (yes its time already) filled it up before I left, and over the 85 mile round trip I only dropped 2 candy corns of fuel!

Last time I made that trip in the Jeep I burned off half of the 20 gallon tank!

Now its time to fiddle with the new roof rack... Slight modification is needed, and its made of the thinnest aluminum I have ever seen used, but what do you expect for $80? It'll hold a few sleeping bags, air mattress's, and a case of beer. :)

Cleaned mine as best as I could without using the hose...feel kinda guilty doing a full wash during this drought. :(

However, my Mini is still cleaner than 99% of the cars I see on the road. :D
