I parked my MINI today. When I bought my Mini R 52 in April, my wife made me promise that I would not do any mod's that would render the car inoperable should my mechanical ability fail. She knows me...

So, now that's it's cold, I am going to install an oil pressure and boost gauges, a CD changer, my custom coolant recovery tank, and anything else the Modfather paints for me. Yes, I am getting excited about the Dragon.

Well I was going to start working on it, so I started looking harder at things, and realized why there was a spare wiring harness in the back of the car. It looked like a third grader with a pair of scissors went after the one that was in the car, probably why it was never able to start... So I just told the guy I was buying it from that He could keep the car. A month later, I gave him two weeks to get it out of my garage or start paying $20 per day for storage. GONE! [emoji12]

Studied all night for a blood test today. Took my MINI out for a good winter run and it started snowing WTF.

Looks like I will be washing my car this weekend.

Oh I also had to haul a new queen size box spring around the house in the snow drifts to the 2nd floor back deck. All because it would would not make the turn up the stairs from the 1st to 2nd floor.

My neighbor thought I was doing a Rocky 4 workout.

I'm going for a ride. Gotta stop by the local diner and pick up lunch to take to a friend that had his shoulder replaced last Tuesday. He's 84 and just had a knee replaced last year and he still works full time. I want to be a tough as he is when I grow up.
Anyway, it's a beautiful day for a drive, and he lives a little farther out in the boonies than I do, so it should make for a nice afternoon.

Took the Porker up to Flagstaff Mountain this morning hoping to get some frosted tree pictures of last night's snow, but no luck. All the snow had already fallen off of them when I got up there, but I was able to get some good shots hanging out on the rocks. [emoji2]

A group of us took a drive up to Stave Lake Dam. Some great fun was had going around the mountainous switch backs and s-curves. Until it started to snow then we got a bit concerned about the GP making it back, so we headed back to Vancouver.

Then we filled up on the way back because the price of gas is about 17cents a litre (about 45cents a gallon) cheaper than Vancouver due to a region tax.
