Very early assessment is that they're solid. I got a roll cage mount, and the good twist-lock windshield mount. Plus a third-party kydex holder for my phone thag has a RAM mounting ball on it.

I like how configurable they are, how many options there are for device attachment, and how solidly they attach and lock in position.

Dynamat / "dynamat type" material is a good investment because it will kill the hollow door sound and improve the sound quality frequency of your new speakers. :ihih:

Here are two links for the cheaper stuff which is better than nothing at all.

I should of alta done it a long time ago, Metalman. I went by my son at full tilt when he was in his Mustang. He got home and said May car stunk when I went by.

Pulled mine out of the garage & left it in the rain. Hoping Mother Nature rinses all the dirt picked up in my drive on dirty roads away. :fingerscrossed:

Cleaned my MINI Thursday & not even 24 hours until I goobered it up again. :nonod:

Well not today, but on Sunday I spent a quality hour or so cleaning up the Countryman, then we went for a 2 hr spin into the Mountains around the homestead. :)

Up 72 (Coal Creek Canyon), Peak to Peak (to Nederland), stopped at the reservoir to let the pup play, then motored down Boulder Creek Canyon into town.

It was a nice touristy drive, it looks like Peak to Peak needs a new surface before winter, hope they fix it up or winter runs will be a beotch.

Played with the torque pro app for a few minutes this afternoon. Now I'm almost hoping the ses light will come on so I can try out the code scanner.
I turned down one of my favorite roads on the way home from work. I was hoping for a nice high velocity run down a twisty back road. My plan was spoiled by a slow moving fiat 500l. That has to be the ugliest new car currently available in the US.

I've never had an Autometer failure, and I have used a lot of their gauges in the past...

Saturday was a cleaning, thought I was safe but was rained on the way into town for dinner with some friends.

Sunday installed the Aux Cable and adjusted my pedals.

Got a chance to get my other red head a oil change at the dealer.

Good news is it came home afterwords (doesn't always work that way it seems). Bad news is they found some typical issues.
    1. Right engine mount is shot
    2. Control arm bushings are also shot
    3. Low speed cooling fan isn't working
    4. Small oil leak from valve cover gasket
    5. Passenger seat airbag switch is bad (like I didn't know that was coming).

I guess I have a project list on my hands for later updates, lol.

Started making templates for rear back speakers, I have been looking at WildThang's setup and I am going to attempt it with 6x9s

I had a code pop yesterday and did some research on P0326.

Almost had it towed. Was at a clients house and didn't realize in his part of the hood it is street cleaning day. Good thing we looked up and outside when we did. The MINI was about to go on the hook.

I did earn a $50 ticket for that bone head move. Yes, I did earn that one fair and square, it shall be paid.

Only my second one in the 3.25 years I've been here.
