    It did rain all Saturday and I left my car outside overnight in the rain.

    Sunday it was Sunny all day so I washed both cars.

    Auto Geek: Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax will give you a deep, wet finish will exceed your expectations. car wax, carnauba paste wax, pinnacle

    Also, ordered new 215x40x18 tires to replace Continental Extreme Contact DWS which have about 30K miles - below the wear bars. This time I am going with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S-3. Tire Rack has them listed #1 for dry and wet grip and handling.

    Any opinions on the Michelins?

    If you like Pinnacle try Souverän its the next step up or you can go over the top and get a very deep shine with Supernatural and layer it with a sealant like Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid Paste Sealant. A little goes a loooooong way.

    So not MINI but BMW and Kids.

    My phone rings, I had just got up, no coffee yet. It my oldest son. " dad I had a wreck" words you don't want to hear come from your kids. It seems there was a broken down van in the right lane, no flashers on. It was right after a small corner to the right and over a slight crest. My son looked left to change lanes but didn't see that the van was stooped. He tried to avoided it. I got there and asked if the police had been called my son said no the other driver was an illegal alien.
    The owner was on the way. I talked to the owner of the van he wanted his workers to move the van. They did we flowed them to a parking lot. Then they pulled out and disappeared into a trailer park. There are places I do not go unprepared. Went home got my son back on the road.

    I don't think it will buff out?no that's not me in the photo.

    Applied another coat of Pinnacle PSS. What a nice slick silky feel when done! "The wet look." Did this after a 45 mile bicycle ride with Salem Bicycle Club in rain and partly against the wind.

    Dave, have you not learned that caps always fail... I had one that "Capped" out mid way through its first Bass Race... Went to additional batteries after that, and never looked back!

    Put the finishing touches on the Dark Helmet Brewery Tour route. Now I need to wash the filth of it.
