Stubby antenna

I ordered a carbon fiber stubby antenna and got it put on. :beer

 

I walked by my classic shaking my head, thinking what the hell is that car cover doing sitting in a wad on top of it!

 

Actually slightly squeeling tires are probably at just the perfect slip angle for grip.....

 

This kind of sounds like something Babs might say when you are in Skooby. :biggrin5:

 

Yesterday I took my MINI out for a nice run to Lowes and picked up a sprayer and other stuff to clean our deck.

Yesterday I power washed and chemically cleaned our deck for Winter. I also did my neighbors deck which has never been done and he could not believe how well it came our.

Today I washed both cars and put mine back in the garage after I ran a few errands.

Tomorrow is a trip to Helix for a few things.

Hit the parts store & bought a couple of sets of Bosch Ikon blades in preparation for winter.

You need the handbrake in good shape. Must be able to do handbrake turns this winter. :arf:

Was the timing chain rattling?

 

I'll chime in here too. Mine is a very quiet engine. Much more so than the French engine in Babs clubster with half the mileage.

 

My chain was fine it was just the guides that were going. I only added the timing chain tensioner because why not everything is already apart. :ihih:

I would have been stupid to not do it.

 

I felt your pain acutely in 2006, when all my R53 friends left me behind while I was at the Dragon with my R50cvt. when I got home, I bought my present 2006, MCSa. The Cooper now goes to shows and on more mundane drives.

And, my new OEM Wiper blades arrived. \

No "my blades are better" Crashton. I like the OEM's. Bosch Icons didn't really do it for me.

 

Wait... All of yalls MINIs have washers for the windshield! Must not have been one of the options checked on my rebuild.

I do need new wipers though... And one of the damn nuts that holds the arm on.
