So I'm not the only one with lots of extra tiny pits in the windshield. I thought it might be a defect. I wounder if glass polish would reduce them and remove them.

No glass polish will fix a MINI windshield. The only thing a good glass polish will do is remove film from wiper marks and I can do that with 0000 steel wool and basic glass cleaner. :ihih:
You're best bet is to find a auto glass shop that sells the Non OEM Pilkington glass windshield and have a new one installed.
It's just about $250 with the rain sensor for my R53.
Oh I also replace the A-Pillar's at the same time. -

Today I wiped down my car in the garage with a quick detailer. :ihih:

Also these are the absolute BEST microfiber towels I have ever used and worth every penny. They are made by Microfiber Madness and everyone should check them out because they are not the cheap crap you buy at auto stores and they are not made in China like the Cobra ones sold by Autogeek.net.
I have been using these for the last few months and they hold up and are crazy thick and soft with no lint.

They also make excellent drying towels. -

Took the Mini, my Daughter, and Grandkids to a family reunion brunswick stew yesterday. Stopped to fill up at a gas station with regular unleaded for $2.62 a gallon. Didn't notice until I was starting the pump that 93 octane was $3.55! WTFO? $0.93 more per gallon for high test?
Oh well. The stew was good and we enjoyed seeing some of the family. -

Let's see a closeup of those wiper arms.

Topped off the oil in the R53 and flogged it on some backroads yesterday. Followed that up today with a nice bath this afternoon.
Now trying to figure out what shift knob to replace my stocker with because the leather is starting to peel off. -

I bought a tank of gas. I was on vapors when I got to the gas station.

Made an appointment at MAG to get an oil change, bought a new NUVI and radar detector.

Made an appointment to get a free inspection at the dealer (MINI of Baltimore County) today. Let's see if their list match's mine.

Returned from a MINI road trip to Southern IN for some fall color viewing, wine tasting and spirited driving on back country roads. Good time, now have to wash a lot of road grime off Bertie.

I'm getting ready to move em so I can do the floors...

Replaced the B-1 pillar trim piece on my Clubman.
As a bonus, I got to check out how well my recently prescribed Plavix works (bled a bit when the old piece, and the scraper blade I was using, broke during removal). -

In the process of cleaning a bunch or road carp off my MINI. Funny for the most part the MINI is pretty clean, but that boot area looks brown with muck. I am cleaning the whole car. Thank goodness MINI's are small critters.

I took my MINI out today because I had to drive over to the local hospital to see my 63 year old brother who fell off a ladder from his roof to the driveway Sunday afternoon. He managed to shadder his elbow and break a few ribs and bleed a lot.
He is feeling better after surgery because they put 2 pins and some wire in his elbow to get it back together, but they do not do anything for broken ribs. To make matters worse the pain killers stopped working because they switched him to Percocet from Dilauded that they gave him in the ER. The hospital did not know Percocet does nothing for our family. He was in extreme pain and then he got the hiccups last night for 2 hours.
(Broken ribs & hiccups = PAIN)
Since they finally switched him back to Dilauded around 11 AM he is feeling a lot better and FINALY pain free and getting some sleep. -
