Dave I hope your brother mends fast. Sorry about his indecent involving gravity. When he is all better give him a good talking to & tell him to stay off the roof & ladders.

If the heating pad works on my sore back today I am going to wash my car after work. It needs it from last weekends driving. (Almost 160 miles in one day)

...what? You don't have heated seats?

So long as you don't put a softer suspension and replace the sway bars with 2 mm stuff.

I took out the horrible MINI OEM "beach chair" seats years ago and replaced them with Recaros from a Mitzu Evo IX. Much better supportive seats and do not need heated seats.

I pulled my back a little painting the shutters on my 3 floor on a 32 ft ladder last weekend. Unlike my older brother I did not fall.:lol::lol:

Did you go on the New Jersey run? Saw it on the Club Website while visiting near Philly. I wanted to see your car in person while there. Unfortunately, the Mini sat in the garage (out of the storm) in Oregon, shining away for no one's benefit.

Looks like that's the end of life of that filter. Time for a new one.

Ordered up two new windshields for the MINIs today, anyone have opinions on PGW(PPG) glass in our MINIs?

Should be coming in next week, the last windshield was installed by the MINI dealer, MINI factory glass, a week or so after install I managed to star it with a rock, which patched well, but you all know how MINI glass can become glazed. :(

I don't have much choice on glass, but I thought I would ask!

Using the independent who does a lot of Mercedes and Lexus dealer glass work.

We shall see how they do with the A-pillars on the 07 and the 11 CM.

Have a great Halloween and weekend. :)

Hell Dave, that R53's aging gracefully. Why change the glass over a little patina?

    lol

-- not me. I took mine out and drove to work. Had to drive around a Cadillac CTS that hydroplaned into a concrete divider. Good thing the divider was there, he would have gone into oncoming rush hour traffic.

Drove home in traffic in the dark yesterday. Saw out of the corner of my eye (but mostly heard) an object come flying from my front right, skid off of my hood, and go bouncing. Left a few big gouges and a nice little dent on my hood. Traffic was at a standstill when it happened. I would like to believe that no one would throw an object at a car but I admit I'm kinda jaded...

Anyhow, my Mini has a few deep scars on his face now. Sigh... :frown5:
