Oh when I was out in my MINI today I finally found a rattle that has been driving me nuts for years. It was easy to find with the headliner removed since it's out being recovered.![]()

Ahhh wouldn't ever have that one... No sunroof on Isobell. My old R50 had everything though.

Had a pleasant drive around town to a couple of used book sales and then brunch out with relatives. Nice outing on a somewhat gray day. (Check local listings.)

Gassed up the R50 after taking the dog for a walk.
Now, I'm off to put the snows on the wife's car, as the Polar Vortex is about to make yet another "visit" next week. :nonod: -

Changed the oil finally. Man that filter was black! I waited way too long. But she is a happy little mini now. Just needs a bath.

Pressure washed my Jeep, mostly the underside and wheels/tires, to remove the remaining mud from a recent adventure in Kentucky. It is a relative low pressure model pressure washer; something like 1250 psi.
The wheels on the MINI aren’t coming clean no matter how I wash or the type of cleaner and the tires had taken on an odd shade of brown/black between washings.
With this in mind, when I finished the Jeep, I attacked the wheels and tires on the MINI. At first blush, the wheels seem much cleaner than the regular washing with a brush and cleaner produces and the tires are a nice matte black once again. -

Backed it out of the garage, cleaned the windows and lotioned up the seats. Ordering powerflex lcb's later.

GIR had a run in with a Highway Gator last week so we spent an hour or so with an insurance adjuster this afternoon. All cosmetic, so off to the beauty… ah body shop this evening to get the proper bits on order.

If you are referring to Pilot Super Sports... I think you will find that you burn through them faster than the DWSs. I've run both. The DWSs have lasted longer than the michelins. Just a heads-up to you.

Well, after the rain stopped around noon, I moved them outside so I could do the floors and get my garage back in order.

Thanks, Blu is pretty clean, but Skooby needs a bath. I found where the brine truck had just driven & managed to salt the lil brown MINI pretty badly.

I finally got around to ordering my lower control arm bushings from Way Motor Works today. With two kids and Christmas lurking in the near future, I'll be d.i.y-ing this one. Now on to google and youtube to figure out how to change them.
