The Pirelli P-Zero runflats were actually VERY good tires, with the only operational shortcoming being the STIFF sidewalls (not all bad in a low profile tire, IMO). The other faults of most RFs were absent (dartiness, excessive road-noise, and poor directional feel). They came on the OEM JCW 18" wheelset I got a couple of years ago.

The original 17" Dunlop OEM runflats were a disgrace to a once-proud name.

Drove over to my Sis' place for my niece's 5th bday. Unfortunately, she caught some sort of stomach bug and was KO'd most of the day, puking from time to time. :-(

Headed to the car wash to clean off a month's worth of crummy and subzero winter weather. It started to rain before I got a block from home. :mad2:

I haven't driven my MINI in a week. I just had nowhere to be.

Today I put my car on the battery charger / tender since it won't be moving this week.

Crappy weather is coming and I have not need to drive with morons.

We could wish for 92 octane and no corn. :(

Back in the day, a local station up north was pumping 93 with corn, it made the 07 run smooth and clean on the tail pipe. It's gone... Damn!

Scooter is on the trickle charger, I am to lazy to move the snowblower.

Installed my hobo iClever aux in bluetooth adapter. Music streaming sounds good. Still have to check call quality.
Now, my R53 can't be considered a dinosaur anymore.:)

Nah, I'd not trade this awesome place I'm living for suburbia with a garage.

Got my Gar2Go membership card the other day too.

Both our MINI's started, but the dirty brown one ran the errands. Pretty sloppy out there, but what's a few more layers of salt?

Started my wife's S just now and cleaned off the snow and ice...she's good to go tomorrow to her errands. She's looking forward to getting out and about on her own again...is that what they call cabin fever?

Went motoring up the new south Fraser perimeter highway. It was fun. While stopped at a traffic light, I thought about my fellow MINI motorers on the east side of the continent and hoped all were safe. Then the light turned green and I motored on.
