Parked at PHL for the upcoming week.

 

Gas came back down yesterday and so, my S and my wife's are off today for a long drink of high octane before tonight's projected snowstorm puts a damper on travel over the next few days.

 

Reactivated SiriusXM for a free 2 month subscription (triggered by logging the car in at the dealership for an oil change).

Same crappy sound quality as before. 'Free' is the only price I'd pay for this pathetic sound quality full of digital artifacts, and even at that price I wouldn't use it much.

 

Emptied and cleaned my catch can today. Almost full in 3 weeks. It's making more puke than normal this year.

 

Studs = sparks

Plus we are not really allowed to run them unless it's snowing down here.

I just dug mine out from under the 7" of snow we got last night. The Porker was almost clean for an entire week, now its back to slop covered.

 

R&R driver side window regulator and motor. Ugh. So far my least favorite thing to do on a mini. Terrible design. I think replacing the clutch was better

 

Where did you get that car cover?

 

Looks like MINI's indoor cover... They are $$$!

 

Just drove to work. But damn, nearly every morning my windows are frozen shut and it take a little while to get them thawed out to open a crack.

 

It worked... They were up quite a bit. Gently massaged.

Java MONSTER! I've cut back to only 2-4 cans a day for this year...
One on the way to work, one in the Porker when I get to work, one in the Porker for lunch, and sometimes one at home to put me to sleep.

 

Part of it is the pressure some of those spray it off car warshes use can strip paint off if held too close. Brittle plastic stands little chance of surviving.

 

This could be here, or over in the stupid people, doing stupid things thread........
