I didn't do a thing with either, or anything with four wheels for that matter. I'm sick!

I am going to go out for another run today and then wash my MINI and wife's SUV before our Monday rain / snow storm.

I went out and practiced my perfect 3-2 downshifts on roads that were dry for the first time in weeks.

On Saturday, went to the C&C in Lafayette Colorado, then motored up to Johnson's Corner on I25 to meet with the MINI5280 folks, good turnout in both places.

About 25 or so MINIs went out for some fun roads after our meeting and brunch. Posted up a couple of Public Albums on FB, if you FB, search for me.

Today, I washed and Hyrdo'd both MINIs, a double wash for Scooter as he got some mud from Stove Prairie Road up near Masonville, CO. All in all a great day, pretty and nice mountain roads.

That sucks Savvy. Man that could have been so much worse. I see it all of the time, trucks with unsecured loads. They drop carp on the road & drive along blissfully unaware or uncaring as to what just happened. :incazzato:

I just got mine back from the dealer, had the timing chain tensioner start to fail at 37,000 miles, and had it replaced last week at 38,500 miles. Luckily my aftermarket warranty covered most of it! Car has more pep now!

Just ordered an Alta CAI and turbo inlet tube, should get it tomorrow!

I'm actually quite enjoying my R56. Not the flag car, but a nice, solid fun car nonetheless. Torn on my next car to be a new JCW, or one of the 2016 Focus RS's....

Great advice.....I am going to examine mine closely, but have not seen any issues yet as I do give it a look over when changing to/from winter wheels.

Trouble with those Scott is they seem to fail without warning. As our cars age failing crank dampers seem to be more common. Hope you have a healthy one. :fingerscrossed:
