Gave it the day off and took advantage of cheap fuel to drive the Jeep.

 

Looked at it in the garage because it too damn cold to drive anywhere.

 

Oh yeah it's going to be real cold this weekend.

I need to start shooting more for myself - last year left me a little unfulfilled.

 

Pulstar Plug failed on #2. It had been intermittently mis-firing (about 6 times in 10 miles that I could feel) but I couldn't tell which one until it stopped firing completely. So Enerpulse is sending a new set of four. Once I have a flaw-free set, they should last 50K. Enerpulse claims flaw rate of 1 in 250. But I happened to get 1 bad plug out of four. Oh well.

 

Why would you not use OEM NGK plugs or leave them in your car for 50k?

 

I looked at my car in the garage all nice and clean. I too damn cold to go outside let alone drive anywhere with snow, salt and brine everywhere.

 

I didn't do squat with either car today. My days are spent here, until the job is complete! He's planning to be racing in Primm next weekend...

Aired up the Cooper's tires [I about froze to death], gassed up the car for its big trip to Columbus on Friday, and took a short spin to make sure all was in working condition. Sure wish the Cooper had snows and not all seasons, but it ran ok. We'll see on Friday.:fingerscrossed:
