BTW, welcome to M/A! -
Went in for an oil change and told them to check out some play in the steering. Turned out I needed a new front wheel bearing. Was told that was a safety issue and I needed it fixed ASAP. So they gave me a 5 door hatch to play with for the day.

Yesterday, (also nice clear day) Mini stayed in garage while I rode 54 miles on the bicycle. Always a decision to make - ride bicycle or drive the Mini on a nice day. And, sometimes I do both, in case you're wondering.
New Pulstar plugs working well - no misfires so far. Perfect performance at all speeds and conditions. -

Changed the drivers side control arm bushing with powerflex and new ball joints, tomorrow I'll do the other side. Be leave it or not the OEM control arm bushing with 68,000 miles were still tight!

While we'd have to have "Weather" out here to benefit, are those a nice addition? Don't see the link.

Shoveled and pushed 8 inches of snow from around and on my MINI, and
there's several hours of snow to go before it stops. Road hasn't been plowed
yet so no one's going anywhere yet. -

Visited the local glass handler to get *another* rock chip repaired; that's the second one this winter.
I'm thinking for the next one I'll break down and let them replace the windshield (and shell out my deductible). I've resisted so far, not wanting to disrupt the factory install and seal. -

Try having a garage full of non functioning useless parts...
It's worse than an empty garage.
