It was in the mid 70's, so I opened the garage and looked at it... Depressing...

 

Replaced the serpentine belt, and cleaned all of the salt/winter crap off the pedals and drivers side carpet/mat.

 

Take care of her & she will reward you. She likes a bubble bath followed by Hydro. She loves twisty roads & bouncing the rev limiter every once in a while.

 

Hey Jeff, does Chuck have custodial rights when you go out of town without Blu Brit?

 

Just noticed in your pic that you have the DRL's turned on in the BCM... You really dont see that very often!

Isobell has them activated too, and for some reason the dealer couldn't communicate with the BCM to turn them off... Now I want to keep them for the rare factor.

 

No need for that I get to say hi to mine once a month. I have a new 4 wheeled friend in the stable to have fun with. Do you visit your old MINI's Mark?

 

Things are starting to warm up around here so I gave GIR a bath, a quick wax and a vacuum.

Did a turn around in the Clifton Gorge parking lot in order to stop by the Clifton Mill....

The young's Dairy parking lot was packed... They must have been giving away free ice cream or something... Didn't stop... But... There will be a next time...

 

Yay !! Dealer just called to say, they finished with the cruise.
Everything is working fine.

Bad thing is, the summer tires are on it, and we got 6" of snow last night!!
The dealer is a two hour trip.... So it will stay there for a bit!!

 

I feel bad...killed a bird of prey today.

Just cruising down the road when it popped out off a median into the corner of the roof at the A pillar. In the mirror saw it land really hard on the road. The truck in the other lane swiftly finished it off.

 

Bald Eagle, Buzzard, ??? What was it doing scarfing down some road-kill and became one with dinner?

Don't feel bad unless it was a Bald Eagle, the others are varmints.

How bad was Gnat hurt?

 

Washed and Waxed. Re-buffed and waxed the rear bumper to remove the hairline swirls that develop with all the grit that constantly accumulates. Seems I need to do this about twice a year despite trying to be careful during washing and using the correct mitt.

 

The last time I had my MINI aligned I had to have the left front tie rod replaced. Nothing could loosen it not even the heat wrench. Rust never sleeps. :incazzato:

 

Wow, that is free flowing. Wonder if some foam loving critter defoamed it??
