Getting one of the tie rod boots replaced and then an alignment. Might even swap over to the summers this weekend.

Drove it to dinner last night and decided I've finally had enough of the annoying rattle in the passenger rear... I'm guessing I need to replace the upper shock mount bushings. I hope that's it. I'm sick of the clatter!

Drove about 2 hours trying to get all the self-tests to run so it's ready for state emissions check. But no dice. Car is occasionally throwing a knock code. So I need to get that sorted.

Perhaps so but time was an issue. I had to drive to New York today and couldn't take the time to pull the head and do it myself.
So yeah, drove near 600 miles today in the rain and fog. Fun! -
Got the GP aligned on Wednesday, ordered new endlinks for hers, and oil filters for both of ours tonight.
I'm ready for spring to arrive. -
Finally put my current registration sticker in the window. Only 4 days late, not bad.

That looks killer! Heh heh, Killer Bee, get it?

Washed hers while mine sat dirty and neglected in the garage.
Also ordered new endlinks for hers. -
Finished my stereo and went for a ride.
Ebrake wouldn't release, pads stuck to rotor.
Finally broke free, and left a chunk of pad, stuck to the rotor. Gotta love people that put the cheapest parts they can on a car.
Time for new brakes, even though it had new pads and rotors all around before I bought it. -

I haven't done a thing to my MINI---cause I don't have it yet. But, I did buy tires (Conti DWS), assembled my gauge pod w/ oil pressure and vacuum/ boost gauges, dug out my old "show" bag that contained all my detailing supplies, travel spares, charged up my portable 'battery' w/ tire inflator, and started to re-organize my garage so the MINI will fit in it's new home.
I think I am going to buy a new battery before I take "Pepper" on her first road trip. The battery in the car is 10 years old. I am leaning toward an Optima red top. Any suggestions will be appreciated...TIA -

Pulled the belt line, stripped old Plasti Dip and re-applied. Resurfaced moon beams and re-Plasti Dipped. Pulled wiper arms, sanded and applied fresh paint.
