Is that runflat tire ? That's what happened to one runflat tire that came with my car. The sidewalls held up but the tread surface separated. If it's not a runflat tire, then I don't know what to say.

To me, that tire looks like something was rubbing on the inside of it - suspension part or something.
-
Not a run flat, I may have also been running it for a day (maybe 2) as I only noticed when I heard a flapping noise on my way to work, the other thing is my pressure sensor never went off to tell me there was a drop when it normally does
The white around the rim of the alloy is sealant, the tyres were swapped from the old alloys to the new ones about a week ago? If it's been flat since then I think the crease in the middle of the tyre is from the weight of the car and the road surface, it was on the rear so couldn't see anything that could rub against it? -

Drove the R50 today and it has been awhile. The tires need aired up and the windows cleaned for the weekend trip my wife, dog, and I are making Saturday. That Jan tune is working well and I cannot wait for us all to get on the road again. She likes the ride [it has my stock S springs and a 3-hole rear swaybar] and I like the Jan tune, the cai, the Green Stuff pads, and the Helix catback.

Dusted off the R53 (well cleaned the outside properly, actually) after a hellacious wind storm blew tons of uninvited crap into the garage, before I could get the doors closed.

Got the DWS Conti's replaced yesterday on the Countryman, went with the DWS 06 Conti's since Discount Tire honors the tread life warranty on Continentals when you buy the same brand.
All 4 in 215/55/17 versus what I was running in 225/50/17, out the door for $603 with all the little bit of extras from Discount Tires, full replacement certs.
Old DWS burned down to 2mm in 31,034 miles, July 2012 to July 2015. Really not bad considering how both of us drive the CM, aggressive.
We shall see if I get at least 35K with 4K rotations.
Btw, wife is impressed likes the ride on the new tires, less noise with full tread and a bit more cushion with the 55 versus the 50.

With my Duramax down, I loaded my tools in the R53 to go and tend to last minute prepartaions before we pour concrete at my son's house in the morning.

^ this is one of the rare occasions I wish I lived closer to MoM (a.k.a.: The center of the MINI universe). Would be nice to see Russell - he's one of the best [emoji106]

You do not feel a wobble and it tracks well going into sweepers. I don't think I would track it.
Hope that helps, it might be a little better than the old DWS, but I liked them when I was running 225/50 DWS.

Last night---went with QCC's to see Pixels at a local drive-in. Strangers were posing in front of the cars for pictures. GOOD TIME !!!
Today, went and visited with Russ and the gang at MINIFINI and had a trailer hitch installed. And...I found a killer deal on a tear drop trailer---WOOHOO. Pic's soon. -
Just wish I could have stuck around for the second movie, which I actually wanted to see, Minions. I just knew there was no way I was going to stay awake for the whole thing. -

Took the wife and dog to see some old friends about 200 miles away. We drove her MCS...a hot day with a ton of traffic, but we had a nice time. We left the house around 10 this morning and got back around 7:30 tonite. She says I should be tired, but I told her all my same day down to MOTD trips have toughened me up! :ihih:

My lights were yellow, so I sanded them. Then I tried to clear coat them because I read ModFather cleared his, this is what happened.
So in 95degree weather I sanded them agin but did not clear them. I did black out the headlight rings
Modfather what did I do wrong? -

Ordered a "new" drivers side sun visor off fleaBay. When I flipped it up Saturday to remove the sunscreen the lid for the mirror fell off. Battery will probably be dead by the time I get home Friday.

did the noise maker delete before leaving for work. BIG difference in cabin noise.
I planned on installing my GFB DV+ at the same time, but I found it impossible to get the old one out. Anyone with an N14 that has the warranty replacement turbo heat shield and turbo oil line who has installed a DV+ successfully? -

GFB DV+ ? I'm guessing it's a diverter valve, but I'm not familiar with the brand or model. I did install a Forge DV/BOV on my N14. Easy 20 minute install using a BSH Dual Tap for the vacuum activation line. If the GFB is anything like my Forge unit you will be happy with the change.
