Skid... ditch... embankment... airborne... upside down...
On a road I've driven over 100 times. But perhaps with not quite so much torque.

Same build thread. One post that will say something like "Well, OK, I swapped everything over to the new chassis" and then business as usual.

I'm working on my electric aux. cooling fan on my 70 and then draining the coolant to replace with water, coolant and a bit of wetter.

Replaced the turn/headlight stalk. No more hi-beam stuck on when using the turn signal.

It seems the bottom screw-holes of the column for the lower cover are stripped.
I'm guessing the dealer did that when they installed the alarm in 2003 before I
took delivery. Oh, well, it holds together pretty well just by the clips and rubber
    seal around the ignition switch.

edit: used a slightly larger #12 sheet metal screw in place of the machine screw,
    which worked out fine.

Had him hauled home, rolled him into the mortuary, and put him up on the slab to inspect the cadaver.

Lots of pics and preliminary damage assessment, in the Locutus thread.

I mounted the spare for the first time today. It's never been out from under the car. It's a good thing I checked its pressure once. It's been 18 months since the last time I bought a set of tires for the mini. Tire shopping begins tomorrow.

flat tire warning came on this morning. I pulled over and checked the tire pressures. Front left was down about 10 lbs. Couldn't find anything obvious wrong so I pulled out the compressor and filled it back up, reset the tire pressure monitor and continued to work with no apparent ill side effects. Checked the tires again and all looked well.

I was wondering why my car felt like it was pulling left a bit the last few weeks. It seems fine now.

Tried to polish my Forge coolant expansion tank. I got coolant on the tank when filling. It's like it has stained the tank. Bought Chemical Guys metal polish. Didn't do a thing to help.

I have the same problem with my Forge tank...
Good thing it will be coming off and going up for sale because the thing keeps blowing out factory caps.

Actually going to try out Colin's new tank. (Greene Performance) It fits my look I'm after even if I do have to drill a little plastic. [emoji6]

I would never buy Canton's tank, just off of the principal that it is a direct copy of the original RMW tank. It would save a couple bucks, but I would rather support the real brains behind it. [emoji12]

Hmm. Didn't know that. Can you still get the RMW tank?

You can, but Jan only makes them in batches of 20 I think. They are pretty much a reserve order unless you get lucky.
