vinyl wrapped the red painted dash in the red Mini into a piano black today. Proper 3M 1080 material used made it quite easy for a total wrapping rookie like me. Only two tiny patches needed in the deep vent holes - next time I'll know not to cut until it is all super stretched, because when you heat this stuff, it will actually shrink like window cover plastic (cold climate folks will know what that is).

We may do the door frames too, but that's quite a lot of wrap for something that's not really in your face. Not a priority right now.

Headliner repair is next - Florida climate did a number on that car's foam and glue. The foam inside the car at the bottom of the tailgate is completely deteriorated, while the headliner seems to crumble below the sagging fabric...

It's a 24X32... Trust me, space is tight with just one project at a time! Now that only the Rat-MINI lives in there, and the mess is mostly gone or organized it should be more bearable when things pick up with painting this spring/summer. [emoji2]

This is the 2nd cast as I pulled a Blimey on New Years and went airborne after getting flipped off my knee scooter. First cast broke my fall.

Upside was more pain pills were issued.

 

Looking you before pic, it is still amazing the auto makers still use such convoluted muffler set ups. It was already rusting at the seams and welds.
