You'll need them this week, especially in the mornings before the salt crews come out.
I'm sure glad I got the snows on my car Friday...wife's car has them inside the car as it sits, snow-covered and iced in on the driveway. She always waits til the last minute and this time, Old Man Winter bit her. -

Thanks...I'll try that, but I may have broken the driver's side door handle latch in my extreme angst this morning. I can never leave well enough alone! :mad2:

It was pouring between 3 and 4 AM, Sunday, but the snow had fallen by 7 and was already pretty much frozen. In the past, there was always a letup and I guess I just assumed it would let up, but it never did and now the car will sit until it either warms a bit outside or I get off my arse and dump hot water on the frozen locks. I just need to get the car started and warmed up so I can hie off to get the snows on before the next big snow.

I drove to the store and smelled something nasty, it was coming from the heater. When I got home, I checked the cabin filter. There was a mouse nest in there! It was made from cabin filter and moss. I cleaned it out and sprayed Ozium air sanitizer in the filter space, The car smells Okay now.
I backed the car into the carport so as to confuse the mouse, if it comes back. -
The MINI sits again, snow covered and cold. I like snow, especially when there is no place I need to go.

Yeah... I like car stories... Do tell...

I suggested they use their garage to park the car in rather than as a storage shed. -

The longer you leave your car sit the more likely to have it chewed on.
Build a better mouse trap.

Yeah if the wiring is hacked up like that in the engine bay, it's probably going to be screwed up everywhere else too... That is a mess I would rather not sort out on anything, no matter how nice the rest of the car is.

Took mine out for a ride with the wife. We stopped at Lowes and picked up 100 lbs of calcium cloride just in case we ever get snow again.
Currently wearing shorts and thinking about washing my car.
