Crazy weather we had just before I put it away.... The MINI wasn't spotless.... It is now though.... And yeah about the shop dust.... That polyethylene gets static buildup when I was cocooning it... Sucks the dust out of the air like a magnet... Took it for a spin to blow the water off and filled it up with Shell Super 93... All id good now...

 

I just drove it through the rain to help my father-in-law replace the magnitron in the microwave. Nothing special.

 

Is it really that bad? I haven't even looked since... .. .. . June. [emoji12]

 

Washed both Countryman this weekend, my 16 was covered in magchloride from last Sunday. Hydro to the rescue.

 

This is getting to be a bad habit.



Was hoping they could just drop in a new battery and I'd be on my way. Seems with the service backlog, it'll be a week before they can change my battery.
Negotiating for a little consideration as I bought three cars from this place.

 

I recently got my new battery from Walmart as well. No regrets so far and the price was good.

 

Our family clubster has no battery widget.

 

Looked at my car all warm and dry in the garage while it is snowing again.

 

Took the Mini to the dealer to have them fix my LED door sills and try to find a noise in the rear suspension. After she stuck my fob in the key reader she turned and said, "oh look! Your car has a recall!". I don't think I was as thrilled as her though. It's for the crankshaft bearings. They couldn't schedule it for today because they had no loaners. Now scheduled for the 22nd, and she said they'd need it for at least a week and probably more if they replace the engine. The only upside is they're sending someone to pick up my car and drop off the loaner. At least it'll save me the gas and 150 miles round trip drive. Aaarg!

 

On the bright side at least they will have plenty of time to find the suspension noise !! :biggrin5:

 

Yup. Thinking about swinging by VIR and getting a tank of 100+ octane so I can run my NM module on the +5 pounds of boost and see how that works in conjunction with the JCW tuning kit. I've been running it on low (+3.5) since I had the kit installed. Thanks fer the suggestion. :drool
