Just got back from the Goodyear Tire Shop. Finally found some "tuner" lug bolts and had the guys transfer the TPMS from my wheels to the new ones and install my Eagle GT's on the new wheels. I'm happy with the way they look, but now I need to paint the calipers and get a new set of superfluous, not really needed, no good for the track, but good looking street-able drilled/slotted rotors. :biggrin5:
If you notice, there are four wheels in the passenger seat and four tires in the boot. And, that's where they're staying until it cools off a Lot. I'm retired, and if for some reason I break a sweat, it means I'm doing it wrong. I do believe I'll have me another one o' them cold beers now.

Filled the tank with Shell V-Power 93
Installed my magnetic earl drain plug from Dimple...
Looked inside the cold side of the Turbo.... Nice and clean...
Put the rear tars in the front and the front tars in the rear....

I'm at VIR today attending Phil Wicks driving school. My car needs a driver upgrade. Anyway, I just noticed I have the only R50 here. Keeping up on the twisty sections is not a problem for the car, but on the straights, I might as well have brought a lawn tractor.

Today I picked up my newly covered R53 headliner and it looks great.
I also put on my new Outmotoring black door handle covers. Next I sanded and smoked out a new set of side marker lights. This way I can put them in my new Black JUSTA side scuttles.:ihih:
All from Outmotoring.-

I really should have taken before pics, but trust me when i say these wheels were heinously dirty.
After picking up some Dodo Juice: Ferrous Dueller, and some mild elbow grease... these will make some respectable winter beaters.
Not too shabby for an $80 set of wheels.-

Ive been trying to take care of that whole "break in" thing today... Havent had a car with less than 20,000 miles on it since I bought the EVO brand new in '05!
I did recreate one of my favorite pics of the pre-rust bucket Isobell though...
And saw this walk in freezer full of meat in the woods...

Found that my new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires don't bite near as much as my summer tires. Held up traffic in the roundabout at Sawmill and Hyatts Road when I did a 180 because the rear broke loose. "Pucker Time"

A good buddy w/ surgical precision hands visited. Talked MINI & showed him my mod stash waiting for downtime. Took his offer to swap in the 5/06 build headunit snagged from ebay for like $50 long ago in place of my 3/02 stock radio/cd. We went the shorter route of unscrewing/pulling loose the speedo dash panel & pulling up the 2 pillars covering the headunit screws. Took 15mins......now, old awesome doesn't seem so old anymore....It finally has aux input! Now waiting for my aux input bluetooth adapter w/ built-in mic for wireless calls & music.Another feel good day. Shallow, I know.

Made the hour and half drive over to Mike Johns Imports in Jeffersonville, IN to have the carbon cleaning done. Two and a half hours later, what a huge difference it made! She's back to normal again! It was a big mess in there, but clean as a whistle now!
